spéculations? lol i mapped this format a long time ago , i just don't give a shit about it , i was just trying to give you valid data on the format not speculative ones... anyway you can take it or leave it , i really don't mind , also morph targets if their is any in this PC version are use for destroyed geometries if i remind.

First of all in your evidence I can not see any bones for moving character's jaw.
Yes, there are facial bones for eyes and eye lashes in model's head and face skeleton. BUT these bones CAN NOT make the model SPEAK.
If you take a look at the question I answered :
sunshangxiang asked me "this works for me now, but he didn't open his month when he speaking..."
And I explained him the reason why model CAN NOT OPEN HIS MOUTH.

still the same after so many time. whoaw! you can't the read label on the picture ? really ?? i posted an unfinished maxscript here so guys like you can finish the job. i know mariokart64n from a nearly a decade so i know how he is. also what's your problem ?do i says something irritating here and now ? it just make me remenber why a lot of good modders have leaved from this forum...

If they use the same or similar model format to RE4 UHD or RE Remake GC/Wii, it would be easy but if they change model format it may take a little bit more to reverse the format.
Anyway, I would love to import custom models to that fantastic master piece game too.
And you must know that I'll keep my words at all costs dude.

i have uploaded this file for you to check on my skydrive: 1drv.ms/1uG8RES
it contain the head of one of the cops at the beginning of the game (in the car with leon)
i also included some screenshots that show that the model do have teeth and mouth interior geometry and the bone_27 is used to move the cheeck vertices.
don't know if it can convince you .
if you have any question just ask.
also collision data is stored in .SAT files
r100 collision data (first level of the game)

Nice progress man. Happy to see someone else is working on this bad port too.
But there is no way you can convince me that facial animations in cut scenes use skeletal animation. They do use vertex morph targets.
To make sure, You can extract an EVD file, then extract event .bin files and see facial morph targets by yourself.
Anyway, I've already finished character modding toolset and currently are working on stage modding toolset.
If you've already figure out collision data, it would be a great step forward cuz I'm already busy with model import stuff(done, except textures).
If the script is included in your sky drive, I'll take a look at it later.
If you had anything useful for stage modding OR like to join me, let me know.
