The only improvements I am seeing is the character models and lighting as Fluffy pointed out, other than that as Albert pointed out the textures for the background are nothing to write home about.

Awesome news we have been screaming about this for years. whatever the possible set backs that Albert speaks of, I'm hopeful that brilliant people such as Albert can team up and tune up whatever enhancements Capcom brings to the RE-Master. lets hope they have learned from their mistakes on the RE4 PC release and don't fuck this one up. in other words, DON'T RELEASE IT UNTIL IT PLAYS AND RUNS PERFECT!. but i cannot believe what i am reading today this is a dream that i never thought would come to pass very exciting indeed. i think it would also be a great idea for all of us to write to them and let them know we are counting on them most of all to make it Mod friendly.

I honestly think it will be about as mod friendly as the other RE ports we already have on PC. A snippet from a previous conversation with Wbacon... This quote was regarding mod support for RE4UHD, but I believe REmastered would fall into the same category. Anyone else getting the feeling Wbacon might have been hinting at REmastered and not DR3 like we believed when he said this... Could RE4UHD on PC been a test to see if PC would get a version of REmake? And could REmastered be a test to see if fans would be accepting of tank controls and fixed camera angles enough that Remakes like RE2 would be viable? I might also be WAY over-thinking things too. So hyped right now.

Dear god, this looks great. It may not be the best they could have done but it's still super good. I seriously cannot wait for this, especially knowing that it's coming to PC. And, DarkSamus , that is a far-fetched theory, but I sure as hell hope that's right. RE2 and RE3 being remade in HD would be awesome. So would 0 and CV. Outbreak... Ehhh, haven't played enough of it.

So hyped right now. They're adding camera relative controls to this, so I assume they'd do the same to any other classic RE projects. I can remember Capcom sent a question to fans around February or March asking them about their favourite RE memories, and that they'd announce next month what it was about (which they never did). I wonder if this game is what they were gonna announce, but they delayed the announcement. Anyway, between this and the rumoured RE5 steamworks version, I really like how they're showing a lot of love to the PC platform.

I'm gonna point out the fact those are probably developmental pictures, and the game isn't until next year, and you guys are already judging how you ''know'' its gonna be.
lmao, sorry but quit saying how its gonna be because its not how it will be the way you all say it, they probably rushed these pictures out just to let us know its in the works, I highly doubt thats their
'complete' work.
It's gonna be good, stop doubting them its irritating.

Even if they did not change much with the pre-rendered background images, the game looks really impressive, especially when it's compared to the original Nintendo version, so I don't think the visuals are worth complaining about when it isn't just a lazy upscale. My problem is, the visual improvements will impress me at first, but I'll eventually ignore them and just continue playing the game. They need to add other things to unlock, like costumes, new guns, and maybe even a Mercenaries/Battle Game mode, but none of that will probably happen judging by what the developers said in the announcement video. In my honest opinion, the whole "maintain original experience" thing is just a really lame excuse, and people like myself will struggle to find a reason to buy the game because of stuff like this.

Most games are feature locked late in development where they start to focus on optimization and bug fixing. This is especially true when it comes to games by big publishers. Capcom in particular has released many games where the game had its final build up to 3 months before release. - You can look at how Capcom has announced other games. RE4HD, RE6, Revelations HD, and others has looked the same as they did in videos and screenshots. It's really rare they've announced something which ended up looking different from its final version, and that's only happened when they've announced things really early (like Revelations 3DS and RE5). Anyway, I'm not complaining about the graphics as I think REmaster looks fine and I really like the new character models.

Confirmed 30fps cap but judging by the plethora of bugs that 60fps introduced on pc re4uhd, I prefer they didn't touch it, I guess the PC port will be managed by Qloc again
