There is a IP block for certain countries, but they are branching out to other places very soon. If you are IP blocked you'll require a VPN, that's about as much knowledge I can give. FluffyQuack here on the site has the most experience with Black desert than me here.

Black Desert Online. As you guessed by the title, it's an MMORPG. From what I've seen, looks and plays amazing. The visuals are pretty neat, but from having played it myself, in my opnion the overal design of the game is kinda meh. quests are what you'd expect of an MMO: repetitive. go there! KILL SHIT! Talk to man/woman dude person! XP! speak to this ghost thingie to complete the quest instead, to make it a little shorter/easier! (because you have the ghost with you and can talk to it at the press of a button) The combat system is better than your average MMO, but it's not that it's super amazingly different, you can do some combo's (it's somewhat similar to dragon's dogma). as for the character creator it allows you to do quite a lot of things in regards to customization, but having certain hairstyles and stuff be class specific is dumb, gender is also locked to classes. so for example you can't be a male ranger. voice acting for the english version is also pretty bad. I at first was really hyped for the game and then when I played the full game I was left kinda disappointed. If you can look past that kind of stuff then yeah BDO is an MMO but with prettier visuals, i guess? 2 screenshots: from closed beta 2: my character (Ranger) and cat  from the full release: my witch:  don't have a picture of my ranger from the full release (she is different from my beta 2 ranger)

I'll do a quick run down on what I've found you can do in the game from my own experience and what I know about. Combat: - You can use hotkeys OR! theres button combos! no more standing still yay! Quests: - Traditional go here, kill crap tons of enemies, either for loot or kills. - Boss Quests, Boss summons and World Bosses - Crafting quests either to teach how crafting works or learn new skills - Farming quests to teach you - Fishing quests for teaching you and to catch different things - Oh and a main quest I guess? maybe? Crafting: - The crafting system is a bit in depth but from what I know you can craft, mounts (wagons), food, alchemy, energy refills for workers/pets, costumes, armor, tools, weapons etc Mounts: - Horses, Camels, Wagons, Boats Towns/Cities: - Use as Storage - Own and decorate a house - Use as a workshop Classes: - Theres a bunch of different classes. Melee, Ranged, Magic. And a magic melee class. Thats a small overview of whats in the game, and I'm still learning whats in the game XD probably sounds like a traditional MMO on paper, but when playing theres so much depth. Also since this is a screenshot thread!
