I have no sound as resulted file, it works but my file length must be same as original, or it will finish to play before end, that's how game handles the file...
2min087ms MAXi !!
... i will need help with audio ( ReiKaz ?! ).
EDIT : ooops, will test video in 30 FPS (29.97) bc i missed that !!
II : perhaps audio must be fixed then i will be able to find about video duration...

I don't think you have posted in the right section of the forums. This section is for RE4 UHD. not remake.

It's RE4 UHD's Game Footage video in menu i'm doing :
//
\BIO4\movie\demo0eng.sfd
//
I don't know what is the problem, the game runs the video at any framerate and resolution (60/29.97 4k/2k...) but i couldn't make the audio work.
also i'm not sure if duration matters.

Thanks for the heads up on the syntax for the .bat file. I have included that in the new Google Doc version of the tutorial HERE. It sounds like you got it sorted out. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers

What can be the reasons, that the made SFD when applied to game, does not output sound at all ?!. also it doesn't plays full video, or even 2min (orig file time), but less... and acts differently depending of file FPS. Resolution, FPS..?.. fi it's related to audio special settings, i will never be able to do it myself (i MP ReiKaz). I tried 60 FPS 4K, then 29.97 FPS too. Will do a 1080 right now and see. EDIT: the .bat file in mux tool cmd line has the ADX MPEG SFD order in your 2022 archive, i note if it's true like i sais about tutorial (SFD MPEG ADX in readme) !! And my mux tool is different : drive.google.com/file/d/1WC31ftQXJvAvS2PB4M9gVFLDZ-bYM4Jd/view?usp=share_linkMine is from CryTools. edit: mine only works !! Also, i have this errors, a lot, in ffmpeg when converting : drive.google.com/file/d/1v_ksZWr7gnxR4EgyPoKt1pYgdTFDX0lg/view?usp=share_link// i tried (: 4k@60 = OKay, full play time in menu (2min) but no AUDIO 4k@29.97 = OKay, full play time in menu (2min) but no AUDIO 1080@29.97 = OKay, full play time in menu (2min) but no AUDIO 1080@60 = OKay, full play time in menu (2min) but no AUDIO // So, help request is all about AUDIO, i don't have any output when game loads file. "What can be the reasons, that the made SFD when applied to game, does not output sound at all"? I would imgaine that either the bitrate of the audio is not set correctly, or that the ADX audio was not compiled properly.
"also it doesn't plays full video, or even 2min (orig file time), but less... and acts differently depending of file FPS." This is strange to me about FPS, so I don't know anything about that. About the duration. This is odd too, but I think I know whats going on. Let me explain...
I remember something about replacing an original movie (r51c Krauser Battle when he dies), and noticing that my new movie wasn't playing the entire duration. I remember having to change the EVD file that was supposed to be used by the game (but is in fact using a movie). I think the reason for this is that originally there was supposed to be real-time cutscenes for Assignment Ada and Separate Ways, but they opted to use pre-rendered movies instead. Somehow though, when we replace the movies they only play as long as the original EVD cutscene length. There is a solution to this odd phenomenon though...
Try to find the EVD file of the same name of the movie you are replacing and swap it out with another longer EVD file (you will need to rename the file. Make sure to backup original). The process is painful because there is no way to really know how long a cutscene is without having to watch it and time it. I simply started swapping out files based on their size to test out the results.
I think this only happens when we are trying to replace an existing movie, NOT when we are triggering custom movies.
"the .bat file in mux tool cmd line has the ADX MPEG SFD order in your 2022 archive, i note if it's true like i sais about tutorial (SFD MPEG ADX in readme)" As I said, I have included the alternate order to the order of operations in the most recent guide.
"And my mux tool is different" Yes I think there are several different types of muxing tools available out there on the internet. I simply provided the one that worked for me. Feel free to experiment with whatever you can find that works for you.
I don't have time to answer your other questions right now, but I will make an effort later to follow up with you to assist.

Well thanks...
... i found how to use your SFDMuxer, in fact the command line differs with mine, and you were right in your original tuto (ADX MPEG SFD), and better, my SFDMuxer didn't muxed audio at all (MediaInfo), now i used yours and SFD file has audio muxed, i will test it asap ingame.
Sorry for the inconvenience, you can reset the info about load files order as it was previously in the tutorial (remove note about user (me) telling order is not the good one, but i used in fact another SFDMuxer) as it's how it's working for your SFDMuxer : ADX MPEG SFD... sorry again.
//
I'll open, a mod's page when i'm done editing fades in audio and perhaps video edits too, in a few days.
//
OKay,
so it works in 4K@60, thanks a lot, merci beaucoup.
EDIT+: duration doesbn't looks to matter (tested 4min).
BTW, this source is better :
