I threw all the folders from the archive into the root folder of the steam game. please give more information. are you have hd project? did you extract the bin32 folder and installed all the files? which part your game closes?

so, i tried reinstalling the trainer and the folders 3 times. BIO4, Bin32, removed all dinput8. but if i select leon jacket at all, game crash. if i get a character whos male to load in through the swap, they use adas animations, including rpd leon and mafia. i assume its the trainer as, when its closed, my male animations work just fine, i dont understand what could be going wrong, my game is unmodded otherwise.
1. downloaded and extracted
2. copied and replaced all BIO4 files
3. copied over and replaced all BIN32 files
4. boots game , but the instant that leon is selected with default costume it crashes. And if i play any other character, female animations forced on them.

i noticed when i uninstall the game, that those folders you mentioned stay in the Resident evil 4 folder. so i shall completely wipe the game and try a fresh install, will update when that inevitably installs. appreciate the tips on the folder name.

Alrighty, did a 100% fresh install (cuz i guess steam left an old moira mod residue folder from years ago, that had female animations that the trainer seemingly was activating) cuz now i can swap just fine, the trainer did crash once on me, but i expect a couple random crashes anyway, but i got wesker up and running on campaign. Is there anyway to fix the hookshot problem in separate ways? I'm using Leon, itdoesn't crash? but nothing happens, he just stands there

I'm using Leon, itdoesn't crash? but nothing happens, he just stands there Character swap is focused on the main campaign only, there is no way to add the hookshot animation to other characters yet, at least I haven't found a proper way yet. I recommend you use the F4 to walk through walls in parts that need hookshot.
