The video clip is pretty good ^^ It feels like a dlc.
I don't know why my phone can't zoom in to see the screenshot. But after a little look, except the jawline on the right side of the second screenshot looks a little bit RE8, and the rest are pretty good. (Need to actually enter the game to confirm. But even if it's confirmed, it should be fine. I'm too confused with the image capture of Chris, Inconvenient to make judgments. But I'll definitely install and play him more than few times, it's not to be missed. Sadly, I have to find another time to go back to my hometown to borrow a computer to test it. T-T)
As for the part of the compatible and upgraded version of the Mod, the updated version environment of RE2 and RE3 is the same as the post-war reconstruction. Any of your choices is my compass. As a mod user I'd love to follow along.

What a wonderful idea d_="=_b he did such a nice video, right? i took weirdfield's face and tweaked him to make him look like RE5 Chris. that's why sometimes he resembles RE8 Chris (capcom did something similar with RE8 chris, despite the tweaks you still can see dandy's face). glad you understand. even if my laptop can handle the new versions of re2r/re3r i think it's pointless to waste so many space for only a graphic update. besides, so many great mods are not gonna be compatible now. not all modders are gonna update their mods. some of them don't even play these games anymore. yeah xD same Voice Actor... i really miss when there was budget for different VAS, BUT i guess that for someone that meet Chris since RE8 this mod is gonna be perfect.

So as for Chris himself, I personally think you nailed it. I can one hundred percent believe this Chris would be in an RE1 RE Engine remake and the younger version of RE8 Chris. Absolutely excellent!

Great to hear from you! This was a true surprise that made my Monday! So as for Chris himself, I personally think you nailed it. I can one hundred percent believe this Chris would be in an RE1 RE Engine remake and the younger version of RE8 Chris. Absolutely excellent! i know these two mods have took me centuries xD mostly it's because of the faces, that's the hardest part. i think i ended up doing more than 5 different faces for chris because i wasn't happy with any of them + cutscenes animations didn't help either. aaand talking about bad animations claire is also givin me a hard time. especially her because her animations in gameplay and cutscenes are terrible... i did this comparison and she has so far the worst animations compared to jill and ada. (these 3 are the same mesh btw) this is the same reason why i couldn't finish my mod of jill over claire since she looked hideous ;( i also tried to replace ada with jill and the result was SO much better. but i think it is a little bit pointless to replace her over ada since we play literally less than 10 minutes with her.

How it was best to have the rigs of everything line up as close as possible to each other for the best natural expressions. Hopefully you are able to find those sweet spots to have your Claire work as best as it can! Ooooh, this is a really cool lil treat! I'd love to try these out when I'm able to! Hmm, if you feel it is too small for its own thread, you could link it clear as day when you drop Claire's final version with a note like "For the best results, use with this!"

So does this mean Jill over Claire is no longer in the pipeline? Kinda disappointing, but I do understand trying to rig the face for bones that don't match up can be a hassle. Would it be worth the trouble checking out the REmake Jill mod by DarknessValtier? They managed to rig the original Jill face remarkably well given how old the model is. There's also another mod that imports the RE3make Jill that came out before that game even released that worked decently.
Regardless, you've done great work again! You're the spark that keeps my interest in RE2make alive!

So, I just played a good amount of time of messing around as Chris in the hospital thanks to a save I had. He truly looks fantastic in-game. The only issue I picked up is while the battle damage on the body is perfectly fine, when he gets bit in the neck, the blood appears on the color but no bite marks on the actual neck. Hopefully something that can be addressed.

First of all sorry for the late reply guys D: but i wanted to come back when i had the new update finished. ________________________ thank you! i forgot to fix channel 2 haha fixed it: snowman1940 not that version of jill at least :C i think it should look better if i do a new mesh sticking to claire's proportions a little bit more, since this has nothing to do with rig. i still want to port jill over claire though. it might be a good chance to recreate her OG RE3 costumes, like i did with chris. aand also claire's skin tone match with the OG re3 jill/voth's jill a lot more... i always believed that re3r jill was too tan while re2r claire was too pale compared with their OGs counterparts.
