Heres the link on old forum topic: z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/index.php?showtopic=25757Also, theres some recomendations from Aman in mod tool topic. As i know, first, u need to transfer skin weights from original model to ur model or paint skin weights by hands. Another words, u need to rig ur model using original game skeleton. After this, name ur model as one of the orginal meshes, but with LODx255. Then u need to hide original model (+sub-models) meshes. To do this u need to change LODx1, LODx2, LODx252 in mehes names to LODx0. U can do this with mod tool. This is the main idea.

Is there an easier way to do this because ive really watched that video so many times and I haven't a clue as to how to follow along with the video because he moves so fast and not only that he doesn't speak and the directions are just complicated to me..so if there is anyone who is able to simplify it for me, id be so grateful for your help! :') By the way Im only able to use 3ds max 2015 because I cant find a downgrade for 2012 version :l

Obviously, u need to know the basics of 3ds max to do this.

Seriously, dismissing other people's work as "shit" is really impudent. True, I can't really follow him either, but still he put a lot of work into it, trying to show how to model swap.

Agreed with AlistairYou should have more respect for others work, if its not all that helpful than just say something like, "The RE6 tutorial really isn't helpful at all", Calling it shit is rude and inconsiderate to someone who took time out of their day to try to help. ThatGayModder™ remember as a modder in the group you have to retain a certain level of respect amongst the community given that position, if I see any more rude and inconsiderate behavior from you I will have no choice but to remove you from the group.

But i need to finish my model first and learn 3ds Max rigging workflow, since i'm Maya user. For now, this post can help u, but u need to know 3ds Max anyway:

And as said, rigging knowledge in 3dmax is a first and foremost for this, if you haven't gotten that yet I suggest you pm one of your fellow modders who has extensive knowledge in that area and have released model imports for RE5/RE6 like EvilLord, FelixXCurve, or The Chief to see if they are willing to help, or just wait and see if someone replies to this topic expressing their intentions on making a detailed tutorial for everyone.

If they are busy than perhaps they will get back to you, or you can just wait on someone to reply to this topic saying that they will make a tutorial. But the key thing here is going to be patience for both scenarios.
