Can we get an Outbreak modding section? Aug 19, 2021 1:27:02 GMT 10 EvilLord, JTeghius Kittius, and 3 more like this

Now that Outbreak modding is taking off, I was hoping we could get a legitimate modding section for the Outbreak games (File 1 & 2).
Especially due to the popularity of the series (including the renewed fan interest due in part to both Covid 19 & the RE2/3 Remakes)
We have model replacements, audio replacements, video replacements, and so on...
So yea, hoping we get a specific section.

Fothsid has made a tool that can be used for converting .NBD files into .FBX with textures exported. You can import the .FBX into a recent Maya or 3DS Max build and edit the model from there, and if you must, you can also utilize a totally different model (any you desire) over the original, as long as you follow the tutorial on his github page. If you encounter any issues, be sure to join the OBSRV Discord [invite link]. There you will find familiar faces working on their own mods as well and perhaps they can help you to sort things out. But please, refrain from asking anything before you exam your issue thoroughly, also don't forget to read the archived threads in #mods-release and #mods-discussion text channels, that way they will not get overwhelmed with questions that already have a solution. Happy modding!
Here are some screenshots from the mods we have so far!

NOTE: For models with bones in the hair meshes, physics will only show in-game if you place the model over Cindy (default costume/model) which is P07_00.nbd. This might be figured out at some point in future and then new characters can have it as well. And please, take a look carefully for guidance so you don't overwhelm modders with questions. Thank you.
NOTE 2: For downloading the mods showcased above, go to the Official OBSRV Discord (invite is on top of this post) and check out the #mods-release text channel.
Special thanks to all the passionate modders that contributed for this new discovery with the first model swaps in Outbreak! And especially to Fothsid for making this possible.
