Hi there, guys.I know I am not the only one modding the PS2 version and there are only some few tutorials available for this version, so I will be sharing all of my findings here. Now it is for the Laser Aim color, this can be easily changed with trainers on PC version, but on PS2 we need to edit through hex, so let's go.---------------------------------------------------------------------------First of all you need to extract Core.dat file and open Core_01.EFF with HxD.Then press CTRL + G, type AB7A0 and click OK.You will get here:These are the parameters for the Laser, if you want to edit only the color, put the value you want in the blue box.First byte is for red, second is green, third is blue and fourth is alpha. If you don't know how your desirable color is in hexadecimal values, just open up Google and search for Hex Color:Choose your color here, copy the hex code and put it in the HxD.Save the file, repack the the files and put them back on the AFS.Then your work is done:Feel free to explore the rest of the parameters, I wasn't able to change the thickness of the laser by changing the scale, but maybe you can find something interesting, just please make a backup before any drastic changes. If you change the Intensity parameter, you'll get some laser trail, for whatever reason you need it:However, changing this effect doesn't change the red dot when you aim at something breakable, because it is in a different offset. If you want to change it as well, just follow the next steps.Press CTRL + G again and go to offset C36D0Then you will get here:Change the parameters to whatever you want, they are very similar to the previous one.(Try changing the texture as well to find some very funny things, make sure to have a backup)If you change the scale and the color, you can have something like this:Anyway that's all for now, I hope this helps you. Thank you for reading.
