I'm curious whether there is a mod that slightly makes game harder, but it would not be too difficult:
I tried other hard mods, and even I beat "Welcome To Hell" mod with slowest weapons (1st shotgun, bolt rifle) but that took way too much retries and it was very frustrating, especially the ammo farming exploit.
I like challenging difficulty, but not ridiculously hard.
I just ask this question, before making a request for such thing, if it exists already somewhere.
- So you could beat it even with slowest weapons and you are not required to knife most of the enemies
- minibosses like chainsaw/miniguns are not placed in non-default locations, because them being silent (they don't emit weapons and footstep sounds) makes it frustrating, as your perception is hindered from lack of their sound that's designed to alert you.
- And if such minibosses do have sound correction in non-default locations, they should have a fair placement. I found that some mods put such enemies right behind you, or they are mostly placed in corners where you have little time to react.
I do like challenging enemy placement, but not the ones where you have to trial and error almost each enemy.

I needed to farm a lot of magnum ammo, so my exploit is to have zero magnum ammo in the inventory, then go break crates until they drop magnum ammo, and if crate does not drop magnum, I reload the level, until the crate drops magnum, then once magnum is dropped, I do not pick it up, but go save the game, then go to next crate, and repeat this whole process until the last crate possible to backtrack to, then once all crates are broken with correct drop, pick them all up, and continue progressing the game).
This was the major reason why I was able to beat "Welcome To Hell" with slowest weapons.
This process took a lot of hours.
