Hello all! I have a few questions and I'm not sure where to turn! I know I'm not exactly in the right place but it seems this community might be my best bet to point me in the right direction? Google has not been so helpful.
I'm not a PC UHD user, but I've been experimenting with the quickbms, yz2, and other unpack tools on Switch files. I have access to all RE4 game files from my Switch cartridge, and so far the tools are all working to extract the imagepack files and udas files. However, when I try to use my .bin and .tpl files with Son of Persia's extract tool, I hit a brick wall as it errors and says I don't have proper files.
Is there a .bin/.tpl extractor which is ideal for the Switch version? Or am I doing something wrong? All I've come up with so far is that it may be a different header situation (which means I'm SOL? haha), or it might be little endian vs big endian? I've also read that the PS4 files and Switch files are the same, if that helps. Is there a specialized tool I should be using, rather than Son of Persia's?
I can unpack the imagepack files just fine, but I have yet to convert any .bin files into usable 3D models.
If I have to, I'll just buy the UHD version of the game and start all over again. It's a shame because I'm 99% there, just can't so anything with the .bin and .tpl files. I'm loving unpacking all the textures and going through the game. Would love to do the same with the models, but at the end of the day I'm only really looking for a few models including the jet-ski and the jet-ski key. Haha. Should I just give up, is there no way to do this with Switch files?
I can share my .bin and .tpl files if anyone has a better way. Thanks and sorry again I'm not a UHD owner to make everyone's lives easier.

Thanks for taking the time to answer, I appreciate it! Should I reach out with a direct message? For the time being I found something called Biohazard File Archive Tool, which might help me out with extracting? Not sure but I'll try it out in the meantime. I figure I can't be the only one out there who has tried to extract models from Re4 on Switch right?https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?t=6471
