lfs tool is not made by Son of Persia. It is made by Luigi Auriemma

When you say 'nothing happens' that doesn't tell us very much to help you. Here are the steps you need to take:

1 - place file with .lfs extension in folder with the tools and scripts
2 - run the .bat file
3 - you will see now that the .lfs extension has been removed. Your file is ready for editing with whatever other tool opens that file.

If you need more help, please be specific about what steps you are taking etc..

use lfs tool to remove the lfs extension.
then use yz2tool to extract yz2 to a folder.
edit the textures. you can save the textures in dds or tga format since you delete the dds and save as tga.
run the yz2tool to return the folder to yz2 format.
