I know wilsonso hasn't finalized his trainer yet (I'm not sure, if he even will) so whenever you swap a character in campaign you can't push doors etc. (just the same thing with RE6, except for he fixed it in that trainer)
Any other way to replace Jill with Jessica in campaign and still having the ability to progress in the story?

Essentially you just change the skin Jill on Jessica (with her melee and voice), but it will still be considered as a model Jill for main game. Trainer wilsonso directly using real game models for replacement, which were not intended to be where they are not, therefore majority of them are scripted. For example, try to play as Parker on the beach using the Trainer. You can manage it, but you can not go on, because it will automatically return to the place where he should be.
