I Decided to brush my 2007edition off and decided to give it a go with my man wesker. Though i was trying to do like you said in the Description.txt about loading the character in mercenary then resetting and starting new game to play as said character but i was having trouble executing this so i got wilsonso trainer and swap that way and didnt have one bit of trouble. Though the best thing about your trainer was, I was able to finally FINISH THE GAME AS WESKER! Not leon, But Wesker. Normal game it would always crash at the Jet Ski your trainer and files solved this. Thank You Very Much! Good Work! You don't need Wilsonso's trainer to exchange roles. Maybe you don't understand what I mean. You can do this. Start the game and start my trainer. Then click the role swap to fix. Then enter the mercenary mode and select Wesker. Then don't enter the game. Return to the main menu. Choose new game. Then you will see Wesker arrive at the main line of Lyon

Are you using my trainer for role exchange? Maybe this is a little inconvenient. I can write it into an exe file when I have time. In this way, you don’t have to use the trainer for role exchange

Ahhh ok my bad I misunderstood, Sorry. Its working now. Before i was starting mercenary mode and reset then making new game haha my bad. Anyhow This is neat man! Keep it up!
PS: Love exploding Ammo cheat in the trainer.

this is awesome....especially for the 2007 version. the swap is more complete than Razor's trainer

Haha, in the 2007 version you can also use Wesker to complete Ada's mission. Because all characters are equipped with hook guns. In the 2014 version, I think the best role exchange method is the replacement of melee operations. Then replace the model of Lyon. Finally, change the dubbing. raz0r is a master, maybe he doesn't want to delve into role exchange. raz0r seems to have disappeared。

hey umm i love the look of this mod but when i leave the inventory as hunk using a leon weapon its just a black screen...anything that i could hv done wrong?

Please make sure that the trainer is running, and the game must be version 1.06. I will release the latest trainer in the near future, no need a lot of em.udas files

This method works, but actually breaks ALL QTE events. Oh, this is my mistake. Now I corrected it. I'm having the same problem as dizaliz. When I equip a handgun with Hunk screen goes black and game softlocks. I'm able to use the knife as hunk now, which is nice because raz0r's trainer didn't allow that, but I can't use a pistol as hunk
Edit: Actually after messing around with the equipped weapon modifier in raz0r's trainer I was able to get Hunk to equip and properly use a pistol. Shooting and reloading both work, but as soon as I go into inventory with a handgun equipped I get the black screen again

After days of trying to figure this out I finally got it working. First, I needed to translate one of the text files that come with this mod from Chinese to English, because the English description file that came with this was not nearly descriptive enough. According to that translated file, you need to not only install the files this mod comes with, you have to ALSO DELETE the original files that have a similar naming structure but different extension. As an example: in the EM folder for this mod's files there is em1a.udas - after installing that to RE4's EM folder, you have to DELETE the game's original file em1a.udas.lfs - this was only made clear in the Chinese readme that came with the mod, not the English version. Secondly, you also have to use this mod author's trainer for character swap[ residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/15388/new-trainer ]. With this trainer you need to do the same as above with deleting the game's original lfs files and replacing them with the trainer's udas files. Using Raz0r's trainer to character swap, with "weapon fix" on, will prevent you from even equipping any weapons other than the TMP for Hunk. Turning "weapon fix" off in Raz0r's trainer would let you equip the weapon, but then the game softlocks with a black screen. I haven't been able to get both trainers working at the same time without getting the black screen crash in the inventory, even if Raz0r's character swapping options are turned off. I had also uninstalled the HD Project after messing around with this for so long, not sure whether or not that actually made a difference but thus far I've only gotten this mod actually working without having the HD Project installed. Going to try reinstalling HD Project after I've backed up my RE4 folder, in case it breaks the character swapping being able to use all weapons again.
EDIT: Can confirm the HD Project does indeed work with this mod, you just have to go through the effort of reinstalling and deleting files. All this just to be able to play as Hunk and use more than just the TMP lol. Hopefully this post helps anyone in the future who's looking for more detailed instructions on how to get this to actually work
