it´s really easy to come and have what you want. no need of appreciations, no need to say thanx or leave a simple text saying what did you think about the mod.
link was removed because the mediafire link say that there 15k of downloads and a few feedback in the mod tread.
try to say something positive and and kindly to the mod author and maybe you have the link.

I know that right, some people are ungrateful and they just come in a "ninja mode" to get what they want, not even come to mods to leave a positive comment or give feedback to the authors. Even if i notice something like that in my case, i share the content anyways. Sometimes you should not expect a thanks or something from anyone, but you can do what it make you feel right with your decissions and stuff to everyone including yourself for good. I hope your good work prevails over your feelings, it is your decission to remove this mod's link after all and i respect your decission because you have your own reasons to do that.

I agree with you two, too much just take it without leaving any feedbacks, big or small mods. I think i only saw alot of feedbacks on "popular" mods/modders. Smaller ones and newbies doesn't get that much attention which is a shame i think. That's also why some modders got patreon/request pages and also why ToCool made this post already 2 years ago. I noticed like a lot i think that mine also gets downloaded (yay !), got no feedbacks on threads but i see videos of them. Of course im happy to see that it's used, but even more when the mod author is credited. Ive been able to comment some videos about it and people were enjoying it but no feedbacks or likes on the thread. Sadly without this attention and appreciation modders could get, they don't want to share links anymore, they got nothing in return. That's mainly why i just show my projects but don't share the link, well only with close friends or some testers. Im not complaining though, im fine like that. The fun part is that people ask for my mods for example to other people but never me which is both weird and sad Anyway, everyone make their decision, but man don't be surprised if links gets removed by the author or things like that... Also sad to see that since the "showing appreciation" thread (2019) it didn't changed that much I had to say smth about all that
