Sorry to bother you.
I went to github to download "v1.8.1 2017a Oct 8 2022" for testing.
After using "RevilMax2017.dlu", opening the program will display "Deferred DLL". (I use 2017)
Furthermore, if it is allowed, may I ask about the current part of RE8 facial animations?
I use "Import" "ch02_0020facialbasic.motlist.486", set "Scale" to "100" and check "Additive Animations".
I do have success showing the animation.
But it shows "ERROR: Cannot find bone: dummy"
And the number of each animation is only 1.
Is it my fault or is there something wrong with my operation?
Sorry I don't want to take your time, especially when RE4R is going to be released.
I just want to do something like user feedback.
(I suddenly want to try to see what effect it will be if the unedited model and animation of RE8 are completely ported to RE3.
And use it to explore and learn.)

Thank you alphaz for making these tools - I hope you're doing well these days 🙂 I've only recently started a bit of modding (longtime animator & game dev), and without tools like yours, I would've written off the idea entirely - I'm sure countless others can say the same
[edit: I noticed the Discord link and have unlocked way too much new information for my brain]
If you're still around, I'm wondering if it's feasible to perform or implement any kind of batch injection with the Motlist Tool (or anything else). In this case, I am looking to replace every animation in every motlist for a single character, and manually injecting each one would be a bit of a bottleneck in testing and iterating
I can imagine the tool being able to go through a multitake FBX, clip ranges in timeline tool, or a folder full of individual FBX animations to replace a corresponding motlist. Or even a way to manually enter all the names and frame ranges (or FBX file paths) into a single Maxscript/ Python script in order to run the Motlist Tool over and over on the same source/target motlist
Functionally, Motlist tool seems to work great, especially after switching Max's units to cm instead of the default inches. That 39% import scale led to some fun results!
I believe if Max is set to meters and the root's scale is set to 100 then we don't need the 100x scale function. It's not really that RE Engine stores assets for ants 😂 or that they're blown up for editing, per se, but the fact that Max uses a scale percent while 3D tools like Maya, Unity, and RE Engine use a scale factor. So the units can get lost in translation when "1" means different things to each.

Any plans for updating the 010 Template? It doesn't seem to work correctly anymore for the current versions of the game, the only structures that pop up are HEADER and MOT_INDICES

Hey there! I'm trying to import RE4R's skull shaker animations into RE3R for my Classic Weapons Pack mod. However, PredatorCZ (creator of the RevilMax plugin) informed he'll no longer support 3DS Max. Do you guys know of any other way to import the motlist from RE4R (.663 extention) into 3DS Max?
