Kennedy is among the group invited to the White House to investigate this incident, but when the lights suddenly go out, Leon and the SWAT team are forced to take down a horde of mysterious zombies.

“The next morning, Claire visits the White House to request the construction of a welfare facility. There, she has a chance reunion with Leon and uses the opportunity to show him the boy’s drawing. Leon seems to realize some sort of connection between the zombie outbreak at the White House and the strange drawing, but he tells Claire that there is no relation and leaves. In time, these two zombie outbreaks in distant countries lead to events that shake the nation to its very core.”

I've found it now in my Twitter feeds, I'm very happy for it!, and willing to know more. Claire face looks a bit raw, but pretty, I'm hopeful she will look better during the movie. I am also happy for watching Leon looking again as the original Leon instead of the one from Reimagination. I bet that Hirabayashi is behind this. Is possible they show it tomorrow in the TGS conference? I had already gave up to it (I am not licking what I'm watching of REVillage) but if there is a chance of they give more info about this movie, I feel much more eager to see. The trailer looked also very slow pacing (the horror... .... ) I think it's the vibe Capcom is trying to sell, but I'm hoping the movie will get like the previous ones and portrait also good action scenes and become a good thriller (Leon is good bringing action like that bike scene, and Claire is the detective or Resident Evil, sure there will be mysteries, it's a great combo, really having high vibes from this).

I really love both of them but i think after more than 20 years almost all people will change their hair style before Leon i was using that hair style but now in middle aga its kinda looks weird now mostly teenagers are using that style the only reason that i can see is avoiding of fans reactions because most of their choices for characters models ain't similar and not recognizable without an iconic style personally I rather to recognize them by face and not by. .. for Claire they will have more options like normal long hair and in the middle of the movie cg or game she can tie up her hair to get ready for a battle and that's the time when fans are going to have their own claire back to the battle and for Leon in my age personally I vote for one of these hair styles oh God he is still soo handsome i really loved to see Brad Pitt as Leon but probably he will bankrupt capcom! 😅 this style work for almost all ages

I like those concepts, I feel they fit the right tone.
(Claire my love, why are you in a cabin lost in the middle of nowhere? and you are there without weapon? girl you know better than that XD).
People are commenting this will be a serie instead of a movie. I really have not any idea, I think this will be a single movie. O_ò

I bet that Hirabayashi is behind this. It seems like it has become a tradition that fans primarily rating character designs and their faces. I like Leon here, I think he completely repeats the RE6 face, maybe a little older.
As for Claire, I'm glad she's coming back again. Although her face here seems little weird to me, I feel that she looks too anime, don't know why, maybe her chin is too sharp and her lips are different. But I guess it's still better than Revelation 2, isn't it? Her design from The Darkside Chronicles or Degeneration are still the best for me, I don't understand why they just can't stick to them.

Yeah, the appearance is important! consitency helps to keep the world unified, when they breaks that, well, it can continue but it's like... there's something wrong... (Like the gravity of this Inception scene, because that world was a dream, it wasn't real) Combine many of those "wrongs" and the experience can be totally destroyed. So the appearance, are one of the first things one perceives, keeping some synthony with the previous games and movies, I think it's a good symptom of what we are going to get. (Otherwise, it can gives negative impressions, like the vibes I had with RE3re, just for the first image back in December, I felt a derailment ). I would analyze the characters personality and deep dialogues but... well, maybe not with this trailer XD. But generally I am happy of this project, watching Kobayashin behind of it (one of the producers of previous CGI movies) reassures me. Also, in the Youtube account of Netflix, they describe this like a series, in such case, I am even more happy. Willing to get many more RE adventures with Claire and Leon.

O_ò i most certainly agree with you. the tone does fit perfectly. makes me wonder if ole ada will make another appearance again since leon is reprising his role. too I wonder what the whole story will be about. being that its in bewteen 4 and 5, that means Albert wesker is still alive. ive been wanting to see him in one of the CG movies so bad lol

I was wondering if we were gonna see something CGI since it's been a while, looks very interesting.
Tbh I don't believe this is between 4 and 5, Leon looks older. But well, it's Capcom, they can't keep their characters looking consistent at all lol, makes me wonder who the VAs will be.
And if "we can see other popular characters" then I really want this to be post RE5 so there's a chance to finally see Jill again. Jill meeting Leon and Claire on screen, make it happen!!

Leon and Claire looking like Leon and Claire and not like some random Instagram models? What is this sorcery? Well, at least now there is one Resident Evil project I can put my interest behind when yesterday the number was zero.

comicbook.com/gaming/amp/news/resident-evil-movie-poster-bosslogic/it's not about the cg but i didn't want to make a thread for such a thing which indeed I wish it's just rumor and nnot more at least cg ones have been better than movies of this franchise also selected actors are not similar maybe 50 percent similarity for Claire but for other ones not at all not a bit at all (personal opinion)

Looks like that there is a new manga about RE: Infinite Darknesss in development: www.cbr.com/resident-evil-infinite-darkness-manga-style-graphic-novel/I wonder if it will re-tell the series story or if it will actually add new content (like the Young Justice case, there was the series, and then there were comics with adventures that theoretically happened between chapters). Time will say...

I am hoping that this will be a direct follow up to the events of the Degeneration Film, to answer some of those unanswered questions while adding more mysteries.
It also would be interesting if this was perhaps a prequel to the events in Resident Evil 6, can't wait to learn more... so far I have liked all of their CGI films.
