Hi! I´ve unpacked re_chunk_000.
When I try to see a texture in Noesis, the textures load correctly but they are mostly grayscale. Is it normal?
When I try to convert from Tex to DDS using texture-conv.bat, I get a file with the same size as the tex one, it even says how many mip maps I have, but the image I get is 100% black.
For example, I got a 2048x2048 pixels dds file out of "wp0000_g19_albmsc". At least Photoshop shows it black, even though I have used this plugin in other games such as Payday.
Can you help me?
Thanks!
EDIT: I FIXED IT, Nvidia´s DDS plugin was not working with these dds files for some reason. I used Intel´s plugins (provided by riot1986) and now they load as intended. Thank you!

Hi,
I'm also new here and right in the middle of my first modding project.
However, since I've only recently gotten all the tools and my first texture up and running, I might be able to help, although I haven't had the problem you described.
Questions:
- Have you inserted the exhaustive file list for RE3 in the RETool folder, as described in this thread: PAK/TEX EDITING TOOL - What is 'Osiris'? I do not know that. Did you mean 'Noesis'? If so, make sure that you have installed the necessary plugins as described in this thread: NOESIS PLUGINS FOR PREVIEWING MESH AND TEX FILES - Have you installed the Intel® Texture Works Plugin for Photoshop? Intel® Texture Works Plugin for Photoshop
If everything is installed correctly, it should actually work. In the WIP thread from my mod project, I described all the steps I took to create a texture. Maybe this will help you (First Post, second Spoiler): MOD: G19-PISTOL MAHOGANY STYLE - WIP (Since I'm also a noob, the step-by-step summary is certainly not completely correct, but you should be able to load RE3 textures in Photoshop with it.)

I used the file list correctly, modifying the bat file.
Yes, I meant Noesis, LMAO. I got to load textured meshes without a problem.
I will probably use Noesis instead of the bat file.
I will check your tutorial out so I can see if I´m messing up.
Thank you so much!
