hello guys! i was working on a small project when i came to the conclussion that maybe i could re-use some of the materials and meshes from the new RE Engine, and it turns out that i can actually, of course she's not ready at all, but it was so nice to see that i was able to re-use some rigging and even some of the proportions from the new RE-Engine. I still have a lot to learn, but maybe i can get something with this, even if it's just the outfit. for me it was really hard to even open a 2020 model with my crappy laptop, but as long as i could export it to max 2012, i was ready to work. Huge, HUGE thanks to my bf for sending me this mesh, it was really helpful since i don't have the game and it's impossible for me to get it now that i don't have where to play it. Anyway, here's my progress so far: it was shocking for me to see how good the rigging was exported, even when the RE Engine uses the -8 bones weight per vertex- limit and the MT Framework only uses 4 bones limit. The rigging was really smooth, even in the hands. I know that i'll have problems with the alpha, but hey, at least i have the outfit. i'll try to work on her head and accesories, but im so happy for the progress that i've got, it really gave me a huge base to work from, and if i was able to do this with jill, i can work on claire too

I hope the empty space is left for her Remake1 the face, not for the new sister of Milla Jovovich xD Actually it already looks very good.

It Looks Like You Haven't Add ATOS Texture Into Her Diffuse. I Can See That There's No Shadow Textures From Her Body. I Can Help You Add It.

It Looks Like You Haven't Add ATOS Texture Into Her Diffuse. I Can See That There's No Shadow Textures From Her Body. I Can Help You Add It. oh, i have no idea about the new engine hahaha but i did noticed that i was missing some stuff in her main texture

i tried with her RE3R face, and the result wasn't good at all, her eyelashes are modeled instead of being simulated with one single plain of polygons, and that looks horribly wrong with low anisotropic filtering, same with her eyebrows, and on top of that im working on a really shitty computer, so it crashes most of the time when i work on regular models, even worst when i work with high poly models. Besides, i like her look with the old assets and the new clothing, she looks kinda cool, like an outfit mod instead of a full character port My girl looking tired lol she took me 3 days, 3 long days of constant crashes, don't get confused by the picture quality, it was took by my bf xD i run the gfwl version at 320 x 240, and even with that the game crashes sometimes once i open 3ds max and load the scene xD i can't go any further with her RE3R assets because of the limited resources that i have to work, maybe i can add her bandages, and her upper accesories plus her necklace, but im not doing her high poly face, im sorry oh, and don't worry, i haven't tried her REHD face, but i think it'll fit great

hello! sorry for not posting anything, uuhm, i don't know if it's worth mentioning this anymore, but i did managed to port her face over, unfortunately tho, i still think she looks kind of weird in the engine. The no facials issue and the weird shoulder rig kind of ruin the whole thing. I could try to re-make her if you guys would like it, but im not promising anything. Besides, this is how she looks with her in-game assets (no edits from me) i could do tons of edits for her to work properly, i can't even imagine how much this model can be "downgraded" to look "normal" in the old engines, but im not sure if people would like her enough to go through all that stuff anyway, if you guys would like a version with her RE3 Remake Assets i can give it a shot!

Don't worry, whenever you make your personal touch on your mods you always do a splendid job Jill looks very nice even as you show her without your edits, she is already alright to me, but is up to you if you want to make her better than she actually is

i just made more progress, im getting more and more familiar with the RE Engine, porting stuff the old way doesn't seem to be the best way though, yes, you can get really good results, but the limitation of not being able to preview the animations before porting them it's really bad. This ada was rigged by hand by me using the biped system, the symmetry was really useful, but still not good enough. There are no clipping issues, but the rigging is speculated entirely and i get some bones really deformed. Hands and elbows are awesome though. maybe im being too perfectionist, but i know these models can be optimized, so they don't look like dolls without life. if only i could get my hands on a powerful enough machine to work with xD
