So im working on a mod, and i just cant get the dds file to become what it needs to, i followed a tutorial froma person called "tora neko" on youtube, i used the same plug-in for photoshop, did exactly what he did, but when i get to the step where he is just renameing it from dds to tex its stays dds....
for example: pl2000_body_01_albmsc.texout.dds to pl2000_body_01_albmsc.tex.190820018
but it just stays like this ---->pl2000_body_01_albmsc.tex.190820018.dds
i tried with that tex converter what comes with the Retools but that did nothing eather.
Can someone help me with this ? it really frustrating after all the work i did with the model, and failing in the textures only is really annoying me LOL
Best wishes ! <3 And thanks :*

Heya,
were you able to fix your problem? If not try to import (drag and drop) the original dds file with alpha layer into photoshop and your own texture. When you finished editing, click on "save as" and overwrite the original imported dds file.
Choose these settings for albm textures. Some textures require different settings depending on the tex file.
