I'm sorry if I am repeating the point since it's already been asked earlier but I just want to show that I also am looking for the the PS3 Layout mod. The links in the steam guide are dead. I will try to contact the author however if anyone here has that mod backedup and can share it, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

He says that the mod was deleted due to it causing random crashes in game. He also says that he has no plans to make a new one due to ORC being so unpopular. He might consider it if the game ends up being updated / relisted. I'm grateful for his response and glad we can have some closure on the matter.

I wanted to ask if the 3d building models are packed in those .edgemodel files? I would be happy if someone could advise me how to decompile it, it would be useful for my project in Unity. Thank you for the info

Hi there. I'm newbie in that forum but i have nice skills in modding.
So, how to save textures to RE:ORC? I tried DXT5, DXT1, DXT3, and other compress types. Every types incorrect and game just make textures are fully black or just crash the game (if use modern compress types, means DX10+)
Will be super glad if you help me with that! I just wanna make overhaul mod with 4K textures (characters, environments, probably enhance the sounds)

You need to unpack skeleton archive and edgemodel archive (where textures included). After that you need to put skeleton file in directory with unpacked edgemodel archive. Next step its using python script you can find here, after that put script in blender and run it. Scipt calls to new window, where you have to select edgemodel. After that you will get mesh + armature

What's skeleton file name of female model? all models have their own skeleton files, unless you want to work with animations in which case all humans share one skeleton

Got a few questions about map exporting
I can import all the assets individually All the models in dlc\pack1\worlds\data for example arnt even in ssg
However there are level ssgs dlc\pack1\worlds\Levels\MP_stagla_street for example When i unpack these it gives me the data for these levels but none of them import in blender The all seem to be the same data available in the main data folder noted above so no idea there
What i wanted to ask mainly is if there is some way to obtain the position data, if i can just get the position then i can import the models individually and copy past the cords to build out a map
