Maybe someone could shine some light on this subject. I was trying to see if there was a way to have each individual arc file to read the motion.lmt/.hit/face.lmt/and sounds from a different name; obviously this didn't work as well as I hoped it would.
The idea is simple, so anyone who wants to swap their chars over different costumes will be able to retain their special melees + voices without effecting the rest.
I.E. Sheva with Rebecca Sheva with Excella Barry with Wesker Chris with Josh
If anyone knows a way we can force the arcs to read a different file name that would be wonderful.

well, the versus extra was able to read the upl01shebacos3.arc instead the upl01shebacos2.arc, maybe it's possible, but that will mean load a new hud name, portrait and everything else, doesn't?

i think you need to change the paths and pointers in the game exe itself to do this. so without people like Maluc this is not possible and even with, you need to trase the root of this files and everything to change it first..
same with the melee "layout's" characters have or what damage they deal v_v

Ah man that sucks guys, maybe it is more efficient for the developers to have it set up this way, but god damn is it a pain in the ass. I'm really praying there is some way around this in time.
Did it really? I thought it was just a model swap he managed over Cos2 to make it into Business instead of Clubbin.

yeah, if you look into the extra path you will find an arc, nothing more

That's actually kinda interesting. Because if thats the case then we could possibly have them read from their true arcs?
Barry ->pawn/pl1c and stuff. So no more h&k in the floor!
