Sometimes there's clipping, stuttering, a ganado's voice line will play twice at the same time. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using the Steam version with 1.06 exe to work with the trainer properly. I thought it might be the sliced enemies mod but I uninstalled it and same thing

You should update your game immediately from *link*. Hope, your problem will solve... No dont use these links. This looks like its from some 3rd party site, and there;s no explanation for your sound issue either. Quetions.. Did you patch your game with the 4GB patch?

I've tried it with and without the 4GB patch, vanilla and modded... whenever a villager Ganado says a certain line of dialogue it sounds like there's some weird reverb or it's being played twice overlapping itself. It's just a bit strange.. almost metallic sounding. it's usually the "un forastero" line. I need to test some more to see if it happens anywhere else. The stuttering seems to have stopped though. Although there's a bit of audio crackling here and there, but looking up others' playthroughs it doesn't seem to be just me.

I've tweaked every soundcard setting, tried my external dac vs onboard audio, it's the same.
I think it's a problem with the positional audio perhaps? Or maybe I'm just going crazy.

Sounds like an audio latency issue. Update drivers for your soundcard, or try a different card out and see if things change.
