It looks nice i guess, as much as you can judge that from the cutscene trailer only.
I hope it's more an Outbreak kinda game with actuall story/scenarios and not just a Dead by Daylight clone. The player vs controlled BOW was already bad and unbalanced in RE6 so i don't really have faith in them if they try that again..
And if they want to do a horde mode kinda shooting game remake fucking The Mercenaries 3D in proper HD and with full content. oO

The RE twitter said it's a "team based survival horror experience" but the Wesker-like character controlling the tyrant to me suggests a dead by daylight type game though...
We'll know soon tho. TGS is a few days away

Clowns look stylish and the screenshots are unveiled, thats more than enough to know it dont interest me. If their preview shots (wich are supposed to put their "game" in the best light to sell it), look as generic as this, i sure know that behind this empty husk of a product is nothing of worth. I was also witness of their last games Rösidjunt Övil 7 and RE2 Römake, thats more than enough info to make an accurate forecast what type of bumbelbrump this will be. Sorry for calling you a clown, since right now you're the entire circus. See the Trailer looks as boring and uninteresting as the Teaser images. I know that this Game isnt worth my time. I dont need to see gameplay of a football game to know if it interests me or not. Ps: You cant trigger me and i dont go down to your level. (Z)

Gameplay trailer:
Gameplay from TGS:
Some screenshots, poster and artwork: Not impress! Mixed emotions right now, but some feelings of frustration are present.
What definitely caused the rejection immediately it was the effects, too bright interface of the statuses. Apparently they can’t move away from the automat pachislot design, why all these damage numbers, a bunch of strange glows and colorful color effects, showing that the character has activated his ability, another player has taken control of the enemys, treatment. It feels like some kind of fantasy and fighting game in the world of RE, well it’s just very wretched and comical from the outside, despite the fact that it seems to be a survival genre. A timer of a restriction that prevents you from enjoying the game and constantly makes you rush? Nah... It does not even allow you to take this game seriously. The role of the antagonist thus generally turns into some kind of perspective from the genre of MMO strategies. Become the puppeteer didn’t impress at all and didn’t cause a desire, on the contrary, the mechanics seemed somewhat piled and complicated.
Many were ironic about the fact that it would be an L4D clone and I think that would be better if it were in this style than that. As for the filling, it can be seen right away that most of the developments have been taken directly from RE2. Has anyone seen at least one new enemy? Me not. Locations probably also reworked from existing ones. More like a cut-out DLC mode from RE2.
Let's see what they ask for the price. In general, I probably try it this game, but most likely only for the survivors!
PS/ Jill and Carlos? Although, I think it’s just poor quality and the camera effect gives this view. Most likely its Samuel and January.

The game seems to have been mostly developed by a third party: NeoBards Entertainment. their logo can be seen at the end of the gameplay trailer. They worked with capcom before on ports to switch and some of the HD remasters/collections they've done. The game reuses a lot of assets which also indicates the budget probably wasn't very big. there have been mentions that besides the 4v1 mode a singleplayer campaign is also in the works (possibly co-op campaign) which might make the game play a lot more like an outbreak-esque game. it looks more like Samuel's jacket to me. as for other things in the game as pointed out in the "what is project resistance" video by RoE Anette Birkin and G1 are also shown on some of the images, which may indicate more than one mastermind character may be in the game. overall while I'm not really a fan of competitive games, I still think I could have some fun with this. It does depend on if the game retains a playerbase and what the launch pricing will be. we'll just have to wait and see... as for everyone who's mad this isn't a new outbreak game, capcom NEVER said this would be outbreak. people were hyping themselves up for this to be a new outbreak. *shrug* just gonna link to this tweet by Ali as there's nothing more true:

For now, all that they have shown at the moment for me it looks like some kind of short DLC or a small mode that they are trying to sell as a full game.
On the other side, there is no reason to be angry on Capcom for this game, because I understand that they are releasing this game as a temporary stub to brighten up the players' expectations while they are preparing something big.

My "temporary stub" was RE: Rev2 and I´m still waiting for the "something big", I hardly believe that ever happens again. -.-U RE:rev2, UC, RE7, RE2, all have been smaller games in length and content than AAA RE games that came before, (and now this "Project Resistance" doesn't help to break that vibe @_@ ). I remember Tsujimoto saying in ones of his IR letters that after the failure of the 2013-2018 plan, it was going to change the scope again to trying outsource more works again (but in a lower scale than what they had in pre 2012 era) So somehow, in theory there is a chance to see a new big RE game in the future… but prefer see it first before to keep hoping it in vain…

Capcom had the head of Capcom's Resident Evil 2 Remake, announce the game and he introduced the main guy at NeoBards Entertainment who he stated is the team, that they are co-developing the game with...
In that conference they just showed off, the official gameplay trailer and then footage, explaining how the Mastermind mode works and then how the survivor's work, including the different supporting roles each of the 4 characters play (so a 4 versus 1 style of game); in the conference they only discussed online multiplayer.
Lastly, in that new gameplay trailer, there are two new zombies that can be seen in the footage that don't appear to be reuse, from the resident evil 2 remake game.
Still withholding judgement until I see more, but this looks like it may be a smaller style experimental title; hopefully, it will be nothing like what they did with Umbrella Corps.

Not that impressed really, I never had any real expectations that it was going to be RE3 remake or a new Outbreak but this still does not seem all that interesting to me, It appears to be a Resident Evil spin on the type of games of Dead by Daylight or Friday the 13th the game, in either case I think I may have played those games so much until they became kind of a bore to me which is why seeing a Resident Evil version doesn't excite me.

I obviously haven't played it yet but I gotta say I am not excited...what so ever. This whole thing has a very "generic" vibe going on...it just looks very low budget. After the whole epic fail of Umbrella Corp (The first steam game I have EVER refunded) I have no faith in resident evil games that are out-sourced.

Perhaps I was too harsh, but they did ask how I felt.

Perhaps I was too harsh, but they did ask how I felt. you say Operation Raccoon City failed, and metacritic and a lot of people would agree with you. but over 2 million copies sold says otherwise *shrug* I think a lot of people are being harsh on it because it's an RE multiplayer game. oh well only time will tell if it will do well or not
