Hello modders of the RE Community!
My name is Cixon ! I'm passionate with this community and I'm hopeful that someone will take my request and make it into a reality!
With RE5 being a 10 year old game now, March 5 2009. I believe it was and still is a wonderful multiplayer experience aside from it's bugs, and there's still
an amazing community out there still working on this game, from the Nexus mods site, to the Steam community to this forums page. With that being said,
there are a lot of amazing campaign modification mods for RE5, such as the RE5 EXTREME CONDITION, Nightmare Story Mode mod, and its amazing predecessor Night Terror
just to name a few. In fact, Night Terror is still receiving updates today and with every update, it just gets more exciting however, I have a issue. Campaign is only DUOs.
With the use of a trainer, you may add AIs but it's not the same when a third human or fourth friend wants to participate.
Now this maybe a deal breaker for a selective few since I know a lot of the advanced coders out there left the scene awhile ago or are too busy with IRL stuff BUT!
I'm willing to challenge anyone to accomplish such a feat. We do have 4P mercenaries mod accomplished by Maluc and I believe a few others so I know it's possible. VIDEO PROOF (I hope I credited them right.)
RE5 still has love from the community, after discussing with some of the people on the steam community and people still do play online. I've actually friended a few of them
which led me to create this post.
I wanted to keep this short and sweet as I'm hoping this thread was self explanatory but I figured I'd explain my reasoning/intentions for
a madman to do such an incredibly labor intensive job or passion depending on how you look at it.
Best of luck to everyone! I hope someone reads this and gives their feedback on the subject, 4P online campaign is something I and a lot of my friends want.
