Hi there, i need help with my computer T_T i know some of you people are really good at this so i thought i'd just ask here x)
For a few days now, i've been getting black screens with sound freeze problems ... i didn't have this before at all, unless it was a game's setting that was causing it OR overheating because of dust ... so i got my pc clean, worked for a while and now it crashes. At first it was just one game. Then another. Then another, etc. So i reinstalled windows, my pc i empty with games now, but one so i could test if it worked. Still fucked up -.-. I've been using MSI Afterburner in order to avoid heat troubles in the past, which always worked. I have to say that i forgot to put it back last time but i don't know if it'll make a difference ... every time i play it gets to like 100 °C and stops at 105 or something. My graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce GT 220, i think it starts to get old XD I've read things about being probably an alimentation problem but i don't know how to do stuff ... and i don't have all of the informations about this ( my pc's power supply and all, dunno if it's in DxDiag ) and i don't even know if it's an actual power problem To make this short, i'm lost XD
I tried to use RegCurePro which was adviced all over the place but as soon as i started it, it looked wierd to me ... then it asked for a fucking key -.- i won't use this piece of crap before anyone tells me about it I will try to install again Advanced System Care, maybe it's a software problem, virus or something i don't even know ... i'm not able to buy anything anyways, to replace in my PC so i'm pretty screwed i believe ...
thanks for reading x)
EDIT : forgot to say, also just took back my resolution to native, dunno if it'll change anything but now it's all big and fucking ugly so i'll see if it does anything when i'll test later XD
EDIT² : seems like it didn't crash with my last attempt ! cool ! for those who had the same problem, here's what i did : took my resolution back to native ( = my native resolution is 1024 x 768 , while i was using 1280 x 1024 before ... check your graphics card control panel if you're looking for yours ;P ) used Advanced System Care 7 pro to clean my pc ( you can find plenty of keys on Youtube without having to download it illegaly, just enter them while your internet is disconnected ), made updates and restarted my PC and used MSI Afterburner to make my fan go 100 % to avoid overheating ( seems like while playing heat was at 107 °C max, yet it didn't crash ) ... right now i'm gonna try to switch back my resolution to 1280 x 1024 because it's all blur and it's not like i need it with my myopia ( really my eyes fucking burn right now, i hope it's not gonna crash because of screen resolution XD ) ....
EDIT 3 : after about 20 mins of gameplay, at 1280x1024, crash. I don't have time to test anymore, i gotta go, but i'll try to set the game's resolution back to 1024x768 when i come back to see if it works, and if not directly my graphics card resolution to 1024x768 T.T i hope this will work because otherwise i won't be able to do anything else to fix whatever's going on, unless i get imaged tutorials and stuff :/
