Dear KamiA,
I allways get the error: Failed open file. D:\Pro.....\Resident Evil 5\nativePC_MT\pawn\em\em10\model\gam01_001_01_BM.tex 183 and I dont even have this folder "em10". It appears everytime with every chapter right after the loading screen and for example in chapter 1-1 after the last cutscene. My friend can play the mod without any problems. I have the German Gold Edition and he the old Spanish GFWL version on steam , if the country is important.
I hope you or anyone else can help me D:

Anyway, I'm not sure what caused that, but you can fix it by using Arctool residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/481/arc-unpacker-repacker-v0-4271. Go to \...\nativePC_MT\Image\Archive\ and copy the uEm10.arc (the file should be around 30MB in size) 2. Drag and drop that uEm10.arc to pc-re5.bat inside the Arctool's folder, you'll get a new extracted folder named uEm103. Copy what's inside uEm10\ (should be effect\, pawn\, sound\ ) and paste that to nativePC_MT\ Those failed open file are archived inside these .arc files, your game didn't load them for some reason which cause that error.

I was able to fix it now with the Arctool after some trying. I had to drag and drop all the s***.arc files from the mod inside the Arctool and just drag and drop these folders into the \...\nativePC_MT folder. Thx for the help and nice mod btw.

They are in the same folder i drag and drop on RE5 opens CMD for half a sec and closes also can't even open arc tool just opens for half a sec and closes if thats what its suppose to do also since this form takes long to get replys or whatever i rather talk on discord via mic or text could care less my discord is OG Clay#4716

It must also be in the same directory with Arctool and pc-re5.bat. Another way is to edit pc-re5.bat with notepad and manually add your own directory. Then double click the .bat file. Ex: arctool -xfs -alwayscomp -re5 -texRE5 -v 7 -pc "C:\XXXX\uEm10.arc" %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9

alright i moved em 10 from re5 folder to the folder with the arc and .bat i drag and drop on .bat open a split second i still don't get any new folders i have tryed to open the .bat with notepad but the option open with isn't there do you want me to upload a vid to youtube to show you ? or can you add me on discord and i can send screenshots/video i just opened with note pad and pasted what you put still not working This is what i put in the .bat arctool -xfs -alwayscomp -re5 -texRE5 -v 7 -pc D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5\nativePC_MT\Image\Archive\uEm10.arc %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9 Hold up finally got the folder what is suppose to be inside so i know if its right what was inside the new em folder was effect thats it i pasted launched game and now i have this error failed to open RE5 nativePC_MY\stage\s114\light\LightLnk\a00\s114_a00.sdl 183 also do i leave the .arc in the re5 folder or delete it and then paste the effect folder ok so now i am getting the em error again after pasting the effect folder it gave me actually bruh fuck it imma just stick to RE4 rising of evil impossible patch thanks anyway i will try your night terror mod when it comes out

I found a glitch in the Treasures inventory. I have a green beetle but its icon is that of a weapon.
Is this common for anyone else? Is there a fix?

Chapter 4-2
Mirror puzzle on 3rd level (last level of Mirror puzzle) is unsolvable. Two of the movable mirrors are not aligned to any other mirror in order to receive the sunray or deflect to any other mirrors. I was able to progress with the puzzle to open the treasure vault room and the burning sacrificial alter room, however.
Survey for Night Terror development
These mirror puzzle level are great for a majini fight or the flying mutalisk thing, but not for chainsaw or executioner miniboss because the partner AI is scripted to stand still on the high steps. They won't move even when the executioner is about to swing at them.
I can't wait for the release of Chapters 3,4,5,6 or NT. Takes a lot of thought into making these fun though.
