Just for curiosity Do you guys think it would be possible to add enemies to the game using model import? Like the spiders that were removed in the remake for "unknown reasons"... seeing them in the sewers in this remake would be awesome!

I only want to ask something. Please be gentle because i'm a completely ignorant about modding or how a mod works, I was just thinking... is it possible add Resident Evil 7 enemies in Resident Evil 2: Remake? I just thought about it because they have the same graphics engine, and above that i thought that the 4-Legged Molded can be a start point for building spiders, meanwhile the Man-eating insect of Marguerite a start point for the crows. I'm an ignorant and i know it, but maybe this idea can help someone that in the future may want to try to bring back the old enemies removed ^^
You could add basically any enemy in theory just you would have to make them from scratch so in this case the spiders you would need to either reskin an already existing skeleton ie the lickers or make an entirely new enemy by making a skeleton or editing a skeleton and then you would have to add the textures and fix some bugs possibly add new attacks which would be hard due to us being a modding community not game devs and not to mention it would take a while and a lot of effort to make new animations so you would most likely copy them so if we had infinite time then yes we could make some and add them in if we also had access to the engine which we don't since it's capcom only so probably not since the re engine isn't available to the public if we did have it then yes a lot could be done but the most you'll get out of the modders is a reskin of lickers
It is possible but you would have to change a good size of stuff but due to them running on the same engine you would be able to in theory but you would still have to add them in you can't just put a file in the re2 folder from re7 and call it a day you would have to edit the model of molded to be compatible with re2 as far as i know...how you do that? No idea....but theoretically yes you could but i'm not a modder so don't ask me. Also we would need to be able to use the RE engine which only capcom has and is not available to use so right now probably not that's why all that is available right now for mods is like reskins because you can do a lot to the skeletons we have now and make your own textures but without the engine we can't make new enemys or weapons etc
