I'm updating RE3, the RPD area is now displayed witht the same tweaks I did in RE2 for a better consistency between the games. Other BG have had minor tweaks, and I reupscaled the inventory items, tweaking some that were reusing the same RE2 assets. The main donwload link in the OP has been updated, you can grab the update here if you already own the pack, overwrite everything : mega.nz/#!U9UU1QzY!gqSWu21rFI3nImqNTBnDk_bNB_YW9_zyZBk183JDwPE
Thanks for this, I have a issue with RE3 currently, for some reason the HD inventroy icon for Jill changes to the low quality one shorty after the start of the game, is this a bug that could be corrected or something on my end?

We are wrapping up an update for RE2 to adress some issues and enhance a few things. The work we've done to try and correct issues with RE3 (like the inventory portrait you're mentionning ToCool74 ) is appliable to RE2, so the overall pack will be smaller in size. Specifically for RE3, we seemingly have found the reasons for the bad dumps that were plaguing the GC version and preventing the usage of HD masks, and more importantly, a way to circumvent that. The tests we're currently running are very promising at least. We still need to decrypt the RDT files to try and get the coordinates of the masks. Not an easy task. RE3 is much less documented compared to RE2. TL;DR : we're actively working on RE3 so don't bother too much with the current pack, it was done before I could collaborate with MoArtis. And the future RE2 update should arrive soon.

I currently have one installed but its not nearly as all encompassing as the RE2 and RE3 project.

Yeah, 3D games are harder to enhance compared to pre-rendered BG. I haven't considered it yet, I was really expecting a PC release of the HD port, but I guess a potential remake will ship at some point. I can't promise anything for now for a HD GC pack.

After a lot of work, we're proud to say that RE3 is definitely coming soon. It's entirely different from RE2 on a lot of points and it wasn't an easy task to crack it, but we didi it ! The test phase will begin this week and after all the bugs are tracked and eliminated, you'll be able to enjoy RE3 in glorious HD : Guess where Jill is hiding ? See you soon !

I have a request would it be possible to replace the GC buttons icons with PS ones for the classic PS1 experience?

To my knowledge there's no prompt in-game showing the buttons, right ? There's just the option screen where you can choose your button config but I don't plan on doing that, we have a lot more to prioritize before custom mods. I'm taking down the current RE3 download link, it's pretty much irrelevant to get it now since the big update will be coming soon

I think the only controller icons is in the controller config Looking forward to RE3!

By the Gods that is gorgeous. I know I'm going to feel so spoiled when we all get to play in that beautiful HD environment.

While waiting for RE3, we made an update for RE2, you can either start fresh with the 1.1 Full Pack or upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1. WARNING Upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1 will require you to remove the currently installed 3D Models folders located in Dolphin-x64-RESHDP\User\Load\Textures\GHAE08. This update introduces a new version of Dolphin that changes the way textures are handled, so the old 3D Models folder will use disk space for nothing if you don't remove it. Don't worry, the new folder is called 3D Models Wildcarded so it won't merge with the old one. You can remove it later if you wish. RE2SHDP 1.1 DDS Pack + Custom Dolphin : mega.nz/#!HZwDjSiD!TiiYPfpvqa5B9R5vzq7G82ZXBBsf1eWrtF7SYVmg7IM RE2SHDP 1.0 to 1.1 DDS Pack update : mega.nz/#!aVg3CC4B!uKJsRWckyjzcO2fYRIDbOAQ84-8VpVrj2Fazy-epwv4 RE2SHDP FMV DDS Pack : mega.nz/#!XUQ1BSTR!RvlzAWakDtkH-VsCjAiFI6YWXMujJOU-nLxp7S_8WvY You noticed the FMV pack in the download links ? Feel free to read about it here : www.reshdp.com/re2/#fmv-pack . RE2 FMV can now display in a better shape than ever. It is not a disc-file replacement but a frame-by-frame replacement, so the size is pretty huge considering. But if you don't care about disk space, feel free to try it. We based this pack on the Sourcenext FMV.

It's live : www.reshdp.com/re3/You want to download the new version of Dolphin we provide in this pack because it was further tweaked for the wildcard textures management since RE2 1.1 update. If you're familiar with the RE2 pack then you are in familiar territory here. I hope you'll enjoy this ! Big shoutout to my teammate MoArtis without whom this would have never been possible.
