Hello everyone, With the recent release of the new RE2, some people are diappointed by how the scenarios are handled and would like to replay the original games the best way possible. I and other people created a pack you can consider as an ultimate HD mod for these games, since the Game Cube emulator handles textures swapping pretty easily. You will find the download links here : RE2 - Seamless HD Project and RE3 - Seamless HD ProjectAny feedback appreciated, thanks ! Darkside Chronicles costume mod for RE2 : link

As of now, no. Maybe in a near future if Gemini can make the support for hi res textures with his Classic Rebirth patch.
I'm aware of a certain Peixoto who made an injector, but it's a bit of a pain to use, I don't manage to get it right.

I love this. I might get the Dolphin versions. Wasn't aware there were GCN ports of these games. Just a quick of topic question, but is it as easy to replace models for these ports as it is for the Sourcenext version? I have DSC Claire in RE2 Sourcenext version, and really don't want to leave that out if I don't have to.

Nope, sorry, I'm not aware of any methods that could allow for 3D models swaps.
EDIT : if it's just a simple retexturing of the existing Claire model, it would be possible though.

Based on the video alone, the work y'all've done is pretty fantastic. I wish I owned a Gamecube to experience this in real-time.

I'm using these HD Textures but the game stutters a little when changing scenarios and or cameras , is that normal?

Yes, if you have a lot of RAM you can tick the "prefetch textures to memory" option but it'll eat it rapidly. Or you can redirect the directories of Dolphin on a SSD or USB3 drive for very fast access.

I have 32GB of ram so choosing the "prefetch textures to memory" option was a no-brainer for me. Some screenshots of the RE2 version of this mod...
Also decided that this thread is worth pinning.

Good news, I've been in contact with a guy named MoArtis who previously did that :
. He's finalizing his tool so we'll be able in a near future to correct 2 major problems : - The seams on the right part of the upscaled BG (they are divided in 3 so since I upscaled them separately, the joints are visible) - New processed masks based on the upscaled backgrounds. That second step will need some more time because we'll have to process every texture manually to check and correct what's needed but in the end, we'll have a true HD seamless mask.
