Uncheck the only readable option of the game install folder and make sure u have all user privilegies in that folder
If u use windows , u can go in properties of the folder, security and edit user privilegies

If the game install folder is inside the steam folder or other , then try do that in that folder

(try with 32 and 64bit) If you have only with re2.exe then try change the compatibilities properties of the .exe

In this case can be compatible if you delete the .dds files that contains the claire faces from the modded folder (in my mod)
If you dont know which files have the claire faces , you can open all with photoshop with .dds plugin

i dont have photo phop but i have gimp 2.8, i even downloaded a .DDS plugin and placed it in the correct folder as tutorials show me, but when i drag the DDS files into gimp it just says DDS image plugin could not open image

It also says when i tried opening up several of them, it says Unsupported DXGI format (99)
Is there something else i can do or could i get some help if you know how i can open them in gimp if you are familiar with it

If the only thing i can use is photophop and thats what your going to say next, what version of photoshop can or should i be using?
