Performance patch for Resident Evil 2 Remake
===== WELCOME TO THE POST ==== Long time ago! probably most modders here dont know or rembeber me, but its time to do!, this time i release a performance patch for resident evil 2.
The trick is simple, get the most from ur PC to enjoy this game, evene if does not meet the minnimum requirements. In the video im gonna explain about that (its in spanish so im sorry jaja)
===== HOW TO? =====
As requirement of the admins, i develop the version for legit versions only.
***** FEATURES ***** -No sharpening -No sharpening & no vignettes -Custom internal resolution -Max performance preset
===== ¿WHATS NEW AT v1.3? ===== -White shortcut bug fixed -Friendly GUI -Multilang -Now you cant patch the game from every location where re2.exe is. -Now the patch support same resolutions that game does. -Automatic backup (Even if the tool perform his own backup, i strongly recommend do it manualy) -Does not affect saved games
===== REMEMBER ===== -Your graphic card have to stay upddated, directly from INTEL & AMD &nVIDIA no other places. -Go to Microsoft web site and install the latest versión available of DIRECTX (if youre in DXD11 try to avoid this unless become the last option) -Go to Microsoft web site and install the latest versión available of MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2017 x86 -Go to Microsoft web site and install the latest versión available of de MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2017 x64 *Some PC requiere disable Hyper-V to in order game works *ASUS PCs may require uninstall Sonic Suite in order game works *Antivirus could flip on when you patch or play.
===== READY TO INSTALL =====
-Once the download is complete if you AV delete the tool you have to readownload it again So i suggest, disable it when using or add game and tool to the exceptions.
-Run the patch as admin, were gonna make various file changes.
-Once te patch finish, in the desktop will appear a shortcut of RE2, its very important run the game from there, contains command line arguments to modify the internal resolution, and the patch depend on to work correclty.
**Probably every this steps, could flip on you, but u can check my mod site, and ive release a patchlike that years ago but for RE Remaster, and you can check out my channel and check my videos, im a developer and modder i made this cuz its fun.

This is really nice  Gave me roughly a 10fps boost on my rig (1050 Ti, i5 7400, bot not overclocked, and 8gb Ram) so it really helped a lot from my point of view Thanks a bunch

BTW a veeeery old meme invision times! i miss it! thanks for that That's a great addition, I'm sure it'll be useful for a lot of people. ¡Qué alegría ver otros modders de habla hispana! i think the same its useful for everyone! in first place i posted it only for unlegits but admin ask to me develop for legit, so deleted the unlegit content from the forum and i repost this. and yes! im from México, but im in the scene since 2011, just im retired in 2014, and reappear for a patch for re remake and re retire again, and now im here for re2 remake, i never own good computers so i have to perform performance patch, to people like me can play with low spec pc! i think we have that right jaja

I have the same card, Is this boost with you still playing at 1080p ? I play at 1080p, so yes Here's my config files: re2_config_default.ini: pastebin.com/CJ74qNwEre2_config.ini: pastebin.com/K18Nj5U7I get >40 fps most of the times, sometimes my fps rise to the low 50's with this patch active and you can gain more FPS trying my windows 10 gamming edition RED KING. theres a lot of users talking about in my channel, that FPS rise, try it, a windows much faster and better for gamming. Does this work with the latest update/Ghost Survivors update/DLC? it is not tested yet, i need somone that have that version comment about that. if dont i can make a patch for it

I'm planning for a motherboard upgrade, so I will need to reinstall Windows as well
