Credit goes directly to JpDeathBLade for finding this out. Download the Cheat Table from hereOpen the table after you've launched the game and you'll see two categories, Rank and Score. Right click on Rank and select Change Record -> Value and set the value to 5. Now do the same thing for Score and set the value to 5500. Check off the boxes under the active category to lock your values in place, thus disabling the Adaptive Difficulty. If you fail to complete this step, the values will reset if you have to reload the game. Be sure to repeat this process every time you start the game. Enjoy!

This makes the game more hard or more easy?

Wow nice seems good for speed runs Wouldn't be allowed for speedruns since it's basically a cheat and not an intended game mechanic.

This makes the game more hard or more easy? It makes the game more consistent; you start the game at rank 5 which means your damage deals 1.0x damage. If you start playing poorly and your rank drops, your damage multiplier increases. If you play well, the difficulty ramps up and when you reach rank 8-9, you only deal 70% of damage. Using this, you can lock the game to rank 5 and the difficulty will remain the same regardless of how you play. You could also increase your score and rank to make the game harder, but if you are a proficient shot, it's quite easy to get to rank 8 and 9 within the first 40 minutes of the game.

Explains why the enemies are so stupidly bullet-spongy... Yeah, I'm not really a fan of adaptive difficulty. It rewards sloppiness and punishes skill. That said, AD has been in Resident Evil games since RE4, it was just better implemented in those titles I guess.

Thanks! I didn't even know the game had adaptive difficulty. I only started wondering because the enemies seemed bulletspongier than usual. And this fixed that! (Why should i get punished for being good at the game??? )

Nice one. I think adaptive difficulty really ruins the game in hardcore mode.

Wonder why they didn't include this in the trainers that were released for it. Such as FLiNG's trainer. Would be ideal to have it in there as a key toggle.

I don't think Capcom spent some time to balance it out properly.
