Hello, here is my issue.
I found myself feeling a bit nostalgic after beating RE2 Remake recently and decided to boot up steam and play some of the older Resident Evil titles one of which was Resident Evil 4 UHD, however I've started to run into this glitch which apparently only happens in cutscenes but is still a weird eyesore,
It also happens at the merchant cutscene as well as the ganado corpse fed to Del Lago, any ideas on what the issue could be to solve this?
I'd rather not have to verify the integrity of my fame files in steam since I would have to dig up all my mods and install them again but if thats what it takes than so be it lol.

This is from a model that is pointing to a texture pack that is not loaded into memory or a missing texture. Usually the black with text is a default texture that gets loaded when a model is pointing to the wrong pack file. I'm really not sure how this is happening for you because I don't know what files you replaced etc. If it is only happening in cutscenes you might ask Albert to prepare you a folder with just the cutscene textures to place back into your ImagePackHD folder if he has them isolated (currently I do not).
If you do not have any texture mods installed (or are only using Albert & Chris's mod) this might be an easy fix. If there are other texture mods involved it may not be as easy. Can you tell us what mods you have installed?
I know verifying game files is a modders nightmare because essentially it overwrites everything we have installed. My experience has been the best way to avoid this is to backup your entire RE4 folder after a mod has been installed correctly. This way we can simply swap the folders out without losing a whole bunch of mods.
I'm interested to help you solve this so get back to me here if you don't hear from Albert or someone else.

Unlike my previously heavily modded RE4 2007 I only use HD texture mods for RE4 UHD and currently I have Albert's HD texture pack residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/741/resident-evil-texture-mod-attempt and and Cassar's HD Leon here residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/2674/leon-pack-maximumhd, the main thing I was worried about digging back up is the Albert Texture patch which takes a while to download and extract lol, currently doing that just in case but hopefully there is a solution.

Yeah I would suggest just backing up the folder that you have that contains the images. And then re-downloading the HD textures from Albert & Chris and putting them in and see what happens.
There might even be a link for just the textures and not all the rest of the stuff
Keep me posted !

Decided to just do go ahead and verify my file integrity and reinstall the whole thing again lol, as I said I did not have a lot of mods installed and the only time consuming part was download and installing the very large HD texture pack which took a few hours but is now done and everything appears to be working now, thanks for help anyways.
