Hey, Snipz! Awesome reskins!

I was wondering if it is possible to get very simple reskins on vanilla weapons?

On Leon and Claire's handguns (and I believe on some other handheld weapons like the Shotgun and Desert Eagle), there are these red/green line/marks over the tip of the weapons. I don't know what those are but I was wondering if you could get rid of those?
