Same. A few mods also don't work since the latest update

Trainer needs to be updated to work with the latest patch. But I won't be able to do that until next week.
I imagine mod installs should work just fine though. Just remember to click on "re-read game archives" once in the mod manager after installing the patch.

Sorry. Im not sure if this would be the correct spot to post this...but it seems the most recent update (1.04) I believe. Has caused the trainer to not function anymore..I was wondering if anyone else noticed this. It is possible because of game update. Same with randomizer.

Trying to use the mod manager and it just opens to a blank white window and the cursor just spins. After several seconds, it says "Not responding" and I have to end process to close it.
I have tried several different versions of the mod manager over the last several weeks and they all have the same problem. I have all the latest drivers for everything (graphics, sound, chipset, etc) and all of the latest Windows updates (running Windows 10 64-bit). I don't have an anti-virus program, so that isn't the issue.
I have verified the game files' integrity and even uninstalled and reinstalled RE2 onto a different hard drive. I am using the legit Steam version of the game with the latest update installed.
I have tried launching the mod manager as administrator, no change. I have tried various compatibility settings as well, also no change. I have tried both with and without C++ runtime library installed.
I have deleted the config.cfg file, no change. The program creates the file log.txt but it is empty with zero KB file size.
Any ideas?

It's really hard to troubleshoot crashes which don't output meaningful information. You could try one of these old builds and see if that makes any difference: www.fluffyquack.com/tools/archive/ (they don't have any RE2 support, but if they do work, that would narrow down the problem). As an alternative to using the mod manager, you could install mods using my REtool: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10567/pak-tex-editing-tool - Though that wouldn't let you uninstall mods easily, and the process for installing them this way isn't super userfriendly or straightforward..

At least cosmetic and apparently mods that change the music/soundtrack still work as I've been able to use the manager to install/turn off cosmetic and sound mods. It seems like mods that actually alter one enemy into another (V-ACT Nightmare, All enemies are X etc.) aren't working with the latest patch through the modmanager at least.

Even the 1.0 version of Mod Manager is doing the same thing. Strange. I will try out the other tool. Thanks for the info!

New version: www.fluffyquack.com/tools/modmanager.rarv1.800: - RE2: Updated trainer to work with latest English and Japanese executables. Infinite loading (0%) Is there a workaround? This is a problem with certain mods becoming incompatible with latest versions of the game. It's not related to the mod manager.

Thank you for the update trainer.but, this often causes an error."re2.exe has stopped working" This message appears frequently. Is there a solution?

The character Leon (cleon mod) is changed to Claire, and an error occurs when you eat the key at the gas station. (Replacing Claire with Leon sometimes causes an error)In other cases, an error occurs but it does not appear.but there is no error in model swap trainer. (Not used together)

Hello,
Thank you for being so active lately.
I would like to know, is there any way to fix the "unsupported game version" for the trainer, i read you had to update it right? Will you plan to do so? Thank you in advance for replying !

I updated the trainer yesterday. Download link is still the same, so you can test if it works for you now.
