This version does not work with Codex, when I press the "Launch Game" button it opens Steam.

Even though I manually configure the game's installation directory, when I click on "Launch Game" it opens Steam.

This version does not work with Codex, when I press the "Launch Game" button it opens Steam. Is codex a pirated version of the game? because promoting piracy isn't allowed here, and Fluffyquack made his tool for the legit version of the game which is the steam version

Yes, Codex is the pirated version. Sorry, but on page 6 of this topic the user alduin041492 requested ModManager for the Codex version and was served by FluffyQuack but the link is no longer available so I thought to ask. I do not want to create confusion here, just like to try some mods in the pirate version of the game.

you don't.
you have to get the mods yourself (theyre in the release page of the boards) then place those downloaded mods the folder where you saved fluffy's tool (#modmanager > Games > #Game name > Mods )
then it'll show up on the mods list whenever you run the tool.

Fluffy,
I have a "how to do this" question for you today... about your tool
So I recently downloaded the Beachbody Mr X mod. I took the time to look at the rar file just so i can study how the folders are strucuted.
the contents are quite simple actually, you have one in the sectionroot and another one in the streaming/sectionroot ... etc.
I was looking at the database while testing installing and uninstalling the mod using your tool, and I could clearly see that your tool creates the appropriate folders taken from the .rar file when being installed and deletes them during uninstallation. (and it modifies the dlc.pak file too when installing a costume swap such as the hunk - sherriff mod)
great stuff to learn from!
So I did a test on my own, again with the Beachbody mod.
1 - I saved out a copy of the appropriate folders from the sectionroot and the streaming/sectionroot databases. 2 - i made sure to uninstall all the mods using your tool - therefore the natives database is clean and empty. 3 - I manually put the beachbody folders that i copied out into the same proper locations where they are supposed to be
BUT - at this point, mr. X chose to keep his clothes on.
Q1 : So why is this happening? I'm guessing there's more to it than just simply copying altered folders into correct locations? Q2 : If I wanted to test my own stuff, and create (properly structured) .rar mods will it work properly with your tool?
Thanks!
edit: Did some tests and found the answer to Q2.
OMG Fluffy, your tool is a Godsend! not just for people who want to use mods, but for people who want to make mods!
