I tested it out with a clean install of RE2 and i used the updated mod manager fluffy uploaded, i can also confirm that all DLC weapons still cant get reskinned.  only the Samurai Infinite can get reskinned for now, such a shame.

Works fine with the mod manager version. Uninstall all your mods, make sure you have the up to date mod manager. re-read the archive files and install the mods again.

Okay so i found out why it wasnt working for me, i had like a few non-game files that are inside the re2 folder, i think its from the First person mod. so i delete them and reinstalled all the mods. Now i can say, yea it does work! im so happy i can see my gun skins again  Your Black Samurai looks sexy af btw, Thank you for this, this is what im using right now.

i re install all mods and re read game archives. still not working. do i need to update the mod manager ?

Re-Install the Game, get the most recent version of Mod manager, then read the archives, then install the mods.

what a shame that this isn't working, the all black model is irresistible.
EDIT: Ah damn it.. i looked at the comments and decided to attempt their solution and it worked, uninstalled the MODs via modmanager, re-read the archives and re-installed the mods one by one and it worked. THE ALL BLACK WITH THE SUBTLE BLUE UMBRELLA LOGO IS JUST AWESOME.
