People only use such a term as an "insult" when their opinions are challenged and are threatened by it and thus use the term as a way to feel like their right and superior.
Classic sounds probably would of been fine if this was a Remake in the style of the other Remake where it was slower and only had a couple zombies per room but this RE2 is a modern reimagining using a new point of view compared to years ago when the original Resident evil came out, the old sounds would not have fit the faster paced Zombies of this game.
Things change and evolve that's what happened with the sounds just like other parts of the game have been changed for the sake of modernization for a different audience then the time frame of the original Resident Evil 2.
And Op I'm pretty sure people are antagonizing you less for your opinion and more so for the immature hostility you have been using in this thread.
What's so bad is that his definition of a true RE fan/player is "someone that knows what they're talking about."
On top of this, I was being "cocky and arrogant" for telling him off for saying and doing something so immature in the first place, so he tried to "humble" ME. I have low self-esteem to begin with, and I struggle A LOT to argue opinions and back down most of the time, but THIS is one of the VERY few things I CAN confidently argue about in the first place. It's just down to the following definitions of mean, self-righteous, and most importantly, someone who is ACTUALLY arrogant.
EDIT: I was just going to leave this alone after my last post before a mod had to come in here and break it up if they saw room for it being necessary (Since I don't see anyone talking about it, may as well talk here, but there's a LOT of drama in the forums lately, and I don't understand why after so many years of MOSTLY, 99% of the time, peace. What's happening guys..?), but seeing as there were still more replies in here, I just couldn't help but check it out. Or more like, I just didn't have the tenacity to do so. I legitimately think it's just better to leave it alone though.
