3:51 is where everything starts to happen 9:33 End Result with no errors. No more bugs and Super easy to do now! _____ Plug-in for Photoshop DDSPlug-in for Noesis .10 ViewerDrag and drop this file to "\Noesis\plugins\python" and you should be good to go! _____ To get the tex.10 textures into photoshop or any other editing program you need to use Noesis to extract the texture by right clicking it and click "Export" ( Seen Here). Then from this menu find where you want to extract it and select .dds. You're done now you may follow the video on how to import the texture back.

Thanks for posting this! I figured that the texture format was just .dds with a different header, didn't think it'd be Intel though. It works great but I'm getting weird artifacts here, green splotches on the shirt and some blue on the jacket - is that normal? I just now tried messing with the A0 byte like you did in the video, but it didn't change much. Seeing how the Intel plugin isn't cooperating with me, I'm using a program that lets me convert a .tga into any specified .dds format. The textures themselves look fine, pre and post conversion, but do you think it could be a problem?

Yeah that's one of the major issues I've been trying to fix, I'll update this post once I get that down

Thanks for the update, though it seems like I'd already deleted those null four bytes in all my attempts. I've tried editing two more textures, and one of them worked without issues - Ada's coat albedo. It worked so well that it actually looks releasable. The other was Noir Claire's hat, which had those green spots on it. Maybe some models and textures are just cursed. Maybe I'll figure it out one day. There's three BC7 formats texconv has in total, maybe I just keep using the wrong one and somehow haven't noticed.

rlc, look at the byte at address 0x10, 62 is linear bc7, 63 is srgb.

Could someone point me in the right direction with the .tex and .dds stuff? I have the .pak file extracted, but I don't know how to open or edit the .tex.10 files.

Idk how to open the .tex.10 file in my PS. Other thing is: I don't use Intel Texture Works, so Idk which one of these corresponds with the one Crazy chose in the video...

I noticed that the jpegging artifacts happen to me when the two highest and lowest quality textures blend - when the graphics settings are not either one of the highest or the lowest. And it also seems like I could minimize that artifacting by using either the biggest texture or the smallest texture for both sectionroot and streaming. Minimize doesn't mean fully eliminate though, at some angles and distances from the camera, issues still show up. Quite honestly I'm not sure about this, I might as well be hallucinating.
