Just finished both scenarios and here is my opinion. I will try to make it short:
PRO
- Game Mechanics - Puzzle Qualitiy and Quantity - G - Boss Fights (1. , 2. , 3. ,5.) - Graphics - Atmosphere - Storyline - Tofu Family Mode - HUNK Mode - Ways Of Character Upgrading (Fun and Simple)
CON
- Mister X Over Usage (Such a predator, he felt like Nemesis PLUS; I wanted to "kill" that thing battle after battle) - Mister X Final Form Boss Fight (Felt quite like Super Tyrant Light Version) - No Spiders - No Evolved Lickers - No Great Moth - No Crows - Degrading G-Adult to Mass Enemy (Missed that Boss Fight after Iron's Chest exploded) - Labor Size to explore (Wanted to see more crazy stuff about G) - G - Form 4 Boss Fight (No Dog like Movements; Bad Fight Location ---> no intelligent usage of Surroundings; no Mutation from 3. to 4. form in same boss battle)
So, guys and girls. How was your experience?

I'm loving ALMOST everything about this game, I'm currently just now making it to the lab, my only complaint is that zombies really should not be this hard to put down, I was already on the fence while playing through it by having to shoot them 5 or more times in the head to down them but once I got to a certain instance in the game where I shot one in the head 5 times, it fell to the ground, i moved on to shoot another zombie in the legs just so I can avoid it only to have the one I just shot 5 TIMES IN THE HEAD grabs my ankle, now at this point I had accepted that zombies are hard to put down in this game so I took out my shotgun and blasted him TWICE in the just and then turned back around to try to incapacitate the other zombie again but......the same zombie I had shot 5 TIMES in the head and TWICE in the chest grabbed me AGAIN to score 1 final bite on me before I had to pump another shot into his head to FINALLY take down what is supposed to be a grunt enemy, now RANT OVER lol.
Having said all that I understand that Capcom wanted to boost the horror aspect and the point is to pick your battles and avoid zombies to conserve ammo (which I did) but I just did not like this part of the game and it left a bad taste in mouth in what pretty much a stellar game in my book.

I am now trying to complete my first walkthrough and I decided to start right away on hardcore difficulty.
I have to admit that, compared to the past names of this mode in the series, this is truly a challenge. Any damage reduces your health to dangerous, the enemies are much stronger and you are really experiencing an acute shortage of cartridges. You need to think and build a strategy before you shoot, otherwise you will simply remain defenseless. And I like how the game balances between the current situation and the change to intense situations and battles. It stimulates well throughout the game that you cannot be safe anywhere for long.
I haven't yet formed my full opinion about the game, but for now, I really like everything.

A very good game, but i prefer the original.
But why so much swearing? Totally unnecessary, specially from Irons. Calling a little girl "bitch" a thousand times is not cool. Previous games didn't have that, except for "7". There was no need to that.
Anyway, at the moment, i'm enjoying much more Claire's campaign than Leon's.

Loving the game so far. My biggest complaint is Mr.X, was hoping for a lot more. I didnt like him in RE2 either because he was almost like a free supply drop as long as you carried a magnum, but in this game he's just annoying. He hacks through areas, and honestly isnt scary with how easy it is to run away or even bait/dodge his attacks. More often than not he is wasting time, like when I'm moving the library shelves and I need to keep building distance. Building distance a lot of the time isnt hard, its just time consuming.
I also think Leon's campaign (unless you're really invested in Ada x Leon) is pretty weak compared to Claire's (story wise). They knocked it out of the park with Chief Irons with making him batshit insane, Sherry's section is great (Ada's section is also like less than five minutes), and they even managed to make Annette likable too. They also could have done better with having Leon work with Claire like they did in the original Claire A/ Leon B.
Minor complaints though, game plays and looks amazing, and has its fair share of intense moments. More extra modes would be nice, but cant really complain when Free DLC is announced.

I love everything about the game, but a bit disappointing with that there is no randomizer and extreme battle mode.

I think it's probably the best RE game ever made and the only thing I explicitly dislike is that there's no customizable UI: I wanted to turn off my ammo counter.

The lack of any shit given to make the campaigns substantially unique like they said they were going to, and just rehashing 90% for both characters beat for beat really ruined this for me, if I'm honest.

Decent. Not nearly as good as 4, but way better than 6. The original was better though.

I'm just such a masochist...
Like seriously, the terror when an entire room or hallway is filled with enemies, and all you can do is bob, weave, and pray, all while hearing those omnipresent footsteps getting closer and closer and closer, knowing damn well what'll happen if Mr. X catches you... I think I need a minute...

Liked most of it. The ammo/health amounts are always keeping you on edge, the graphics mostly look great, the inventory management and puzzles was great. the quality of the game was great, you can see they put a lot of effort into it. I did like the integration of certain locations only being available in either A/B scenario.
cons for me I feel it was too dark in some areas, the RPD is an iconic location and Id liked to have seen more of the architecture of the locations. I think there was some lost opportunity to have a little longer of a street section to getting to the RPD, and I think the changes to the lab were too much since you go there in RE2, Zero, and Outbreak and now its completely different looking. There was not even Marshaling Yard which connected 2 and Zero.
