Like another, I really need a Revelations 2 fix.. That game is just DEVASTATINGLY low FPS AND stuttery..
EDIT: AND GREAT JOB ON THIS FIX! I know just how bad this game is so, this is really something most could consider using.
Thanks! I thought I'd finish RE0 and then try Revelations 2 and attempt to fix it, but now that I see there are people who could really use a Revelations 2 fix, I'm tempted to go for it and see if I can come up with something! I'm too busy to finish ReZero any time soon, so I think I'll give Rev2 a go. I hope I can come up with a fix. I'll post it in these forums as soon as I do! Fingers crossed!! Thank you! Revelations 2 is actually BEYOND devastating, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me to play, and I KNOW it can run well, but I just don't know what went wrong with it. I have some depressing low specs? But they can't be THAT low, considering it has moments where it plays ABSOLUTELY fine, even if only for a few seconds, even in rough scenes.

That's the problem! There is not reason why lower systems can't run a game with such graphics. The thing is, if there were an optimization rating, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give these couple of RE games -5!! They actually make things run even slower than possible!! Anyhow, today I shall start wrestling with Revelations 2 in the little free time that I have. I'll provide updates. I should probably create a thread in the Revelations 2 forum and post a link here. I shall do that soon.

You're a lifesaver! I've been trying to get around this FPS issue forever and your fix is the only one that actually worked for me, so thank you. I've beaten the game a few times now - it runs smoothly and no bald Rebecca, but there's this weird glass thing going on in the sewers after the train crash. I thought I had mode 1 on, but then switched to 2 and it still happens anyway. As no one else brought it up before I thought maybe your fix didn't have anything to do with it so I removed it just to test and the glass was gone. I know it's a minor issue since the rest of the game is just fine, helped a lot as it is and I'm not even aware if you're still working on Zero, so I get it if you won't bother taking the time to find a way to fix just this one section - although I'd really appreciate if you would.

Hello dear friends, I'm a programmer and I've been working on making RE0 playable on my laptop, which is an old one. After days and days of work, I finally created the solution! Q: What is the fix and how does it work? A: It's a simple DLL file. Simply download the file and put it where the game executable (re0hd.exe) is located. If you're using another kind of patch that works with the same method, there is a chance it might interfere with this one. So remove the other patch first, if any! Q: How effective is it? A: My laptop has a Core i3 1.9GHz processor and an Intel HD 4000 integrated gfx card. The game used to run at 13 FPS on lowest settings. Now I'm running it at 27 FPS with texture quality set to HIGH! The resolution does not affect the performance that much. I run at 1360x768. Here is the download link: UPDATE: Version 2 is available. Please refer to my next post below for the details and the download link.
Please tell me how it works, and share it with the world! and if you do, PLEASE mention my name and give me credit! Thank you so much, and enjoy! I know I will!! Any way to make this work along side the Photorealistic shader mod?

Works remarkably well. Is there a way to change the button from right shift to something else? Thanks.

Is it safe to rename the dll file to use another mod like fps fix or photorealistic mod? (Did I already ask that question? 🤔😧I can't remember I'm tired.)

I have a channel on youtube called HD 520 Expert where i post videos about low end pc. I made a video about using your mod solution to gain more fps on resident evil 0. The results are great, congrats! Thanks for your effort. I was able to run without recording at a steady 60 fps, although i found some minor graphical bugs in the cutscenes. In the video, i mention your name and this website. I hope you can continue your excellent work!
Here is the link of the video:
