So, I have some questions for you guys, if you can answer any of them, I'll be already satisfied. 1 - I can't ever mod the police car in the beginning of the game. When I import my model to PMD viewer it keeps loading forever. Any ideia why? 2 - I got some models already into the game, but I can't stop having problems with the textures in them. When I import them without textures they work, but when I put the textures in, it happens the same as the car, it keeps loading forever. I'm using photoshop for converting pictures into tga and I'm using milkshape for the models.
I see a lot of people using really high quality textures, so I don't think my problem is the quality of the texture... Any ideia what could be doing this?

Is your Re4 a torrent?

Yep. But I don't see the relation, since I already got some models imported correctly...

There ARE huge issues with torrents as far as modding goes, I used to mod but my disc rom broke so I cheaped out and downloaded a torrent. I don't have the xfiles, etc so I cannot do any modding what so ever. I don't know about yours but whenever I try to mod milkshape 1.8.5 3D crashes. You probably have a similar problem to me... As I said with it being a torrent there are HUGE set backs in terms of modding. It has massive relation.

Now I got the texture to show up, but the problem is: in-game it's all wrong, but when I see it in the viewer, it's a 100% right. What could be the reason for that? Is there a complete video tutorial on importing a new model?

Nope, maybe on the old z6 forum, I used to put some mods their and a few tutorials when I had my disc, I've had my torrent for a while now and z6 is pretty much dead. So you'll have to wait on here.

As for a reason to why that is it might be something to do with the file. I can't even remember were those files are anymore! z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/index.php?showtopic=412 this might help and is what I used to use in my early days of modding. But I wouldn't know were to start now, so much has changed. Hope this helps. Make sure all the files are in the right places etc.

z6 is pretty much dead. So you'll have to wait on here. The old forum is closed and no-one can post there. We have all moved here.

I was playing my PS3 HD version tonight and as i played along i was really looking over the environment textures and walls, doors, objects etc, and it was very sad lol. i just looked at the so called PS3 HD version and thought wow we were really ripped off here. i am so looking forward to this new PC version i really hope Capcom has realized they cut us short on the HD console versions and that they really want to make up for that with the new PC version. my hope is Capcom really did a great job initially with it and that we have some awesome mod people out there that will even tune it up even more so that we all get the quality and mod potential we have all been hoping for. don't mean to rattle on just had to get that off my chest after playing last night on my so called PS3 HD version lol.
