I think I was able to extract all the game files. Not sure if this will be useful for modding or import, but you can try! I not have been able to verify any arc extracting file or convert the texture, because looks like FluffyQuack tool not supported encryption for this game . In theory, if wilsonso was here, I think he would be able to transfer some new melee attacks in RE5, though.... DOWNLOAD: Mercenaries 3D Extracted Files

Without textures Theres Not much to do with these. I remember when JTeghius Kittius Uploaded these Models. I tried to Recreate the textures the best I could But it just didnt work out so well. Its a shame Because i would Love to have those Textures But ah well. Maybe someone will Come along and do something Special with these Anyway Nice job On the Extraction

If someone can make tex conversion to dds, then you can use them. However, judging by the size of the file, they will be very poor quality.

Back when I messed with these I was actually talking to Sectus about them. he made it so the arc tool supported the ARC files but he couldn't get the textures working. I did speak to Mr. Nightmare about it once, very briefly. he said he had the formot figured out, but since Mr. Nightmare isn't welcomed on the forums anymore due to reasons we do not need to go into again (and thus also not derailing this topic) he's also not sharing his tools publicly. He shares them with some of his friends. but so yeah we can't do much with them. but yeah like Night Furious says: the textures would be in 128x128? 256x256 for some of the "bigger textures" some environmental/really big stuff might be 512x512 at most. they'd be good as template for texture remastering/recreation at best. as for the animations, if his melee tool supported it/if he implemented support for it then yeah, then it should be possible to get some new animation files from it. I made a mini arc list kind of thing when I looked at the files myself a long time ago... 00038b00 game files

If anyone Wants the Extract these Arc files there is a QuickBMS Script that Will extract them. Just scroll down that Page and find the "Dmc4 . Devil May Cry 4 / Dead Rising 360 / Resident Evil 5 / Capcom ARC files (script 0.1.6)" It wont Convert Textures But everything else seems fine. And if you Have any Interest in Opening these Models you can use the 3DS Monster Hunter 4 Script for 3DS Max.

When I did a cursory comparison of the RE5 Claire Ultimate mod with the Mercenaries 3D melee animations .lmt file, I found that the animation datas for the limbs and above the waist torso bones were highly identical, with just a lot of high-frequency repetitive bytes changing in the same way, and that this could be done by simply replacing them, and I was excited about that, but when I found out that the bones 0 and 255 had completely different datas, I realized it wasn't going to be that easy. Maybe the data blocks of these two bones are the biggest obstacle to porting the melee animations of Mercenaries 3D to RE5, the animations of bone 0 are very important to the melee animations of RE5, without it there will be no action of the legs when using the melee, and 255 should be very important as well, because every melee animation has its animation data block, and the melee animations of Mercenaries 3D are like Ball-jointed Doll's movements, the joints of the limbs and torso require animation datas in a similar way to RE5's non-melee animations, so Mercenaries 3D's melee animations have similarities to RE5's non-melee animations' bones 0 and 255 datas, but i couldn't find a large number of highly identical datasets, meaning that Clare's Ultimate mod's mercs 3D Melee animation's bone 0 and 255 datas was somehow created by the author. unfortunately I'm just a gamer with no expertise in animation, so I give up.
