v1.0.0.8Here is another update to bring a few more features. Changes- Configuration options can now be set using hex values. (Hex values must start with 0x to be interpreted properly!) - Added new configuration 'forceflush' to Use_Direct3D9Wrapper to force the GPU to flush the buffer immediately every scene. - Added new configuration 'blockquery' to Use_Direct3D9Wrapper to block all CreateQuery calls. (See notes below.) - Added new configuration block: Use_CreateDeviceOverrides -- New configurations to override the device creation. The new configurations found under the Use_CreateDeviceOverrides section allow you to override the devices creation parameters. In most cases this will be unused as the current creation the game does is normal and fine. In some extreme setups, some people may want to control the adapter being used by the game by force. 'forceflush' allows you to force the GPU to flush the scene every frame. This is useful if you have input lag which can be caused by the GPU waiting for frames to render. 'blockquery' blocks ALL CreateQuery attempts made by the game. Patch_CreateQuery is used to block a similar method of 'forceflush' built into the game, but allows other queries to still be made. With this enabled, ALL queries are blocked. This game does make use of 'D3DQUERYTYPE_OCCLUSION', which if blocked, can cause things to not render properly. Distant things that normally would not be rendered may render into the scene sooner than expected. This can cause more stress on the video card for things being rendered. Direct3D9Wrapper is used by hialgo atomos?,cause hialgo damaged some drivers from my amd gpu with ace 0x80000000 stuff problems.and tell me the best config setting in the file please.

twotonedearly - Sure, if you do not override the presentation parameters, the d3d9 proxy should use whatever mode you use with your in-game settings. However if you do override them, be sure that you set the windowed parameter to false. Under 'Patch_PresentParamters' set w to 0. Keep in mind if you do use this, there are other settings that will conflict and crash the game if not set properly! Be sure to read the comments throughout the file to ensure you are setting things properly. mariostako19891992 - HiAlgo does not touch drivers. It works in a similar manner to what my d3d9 proxy does here. It wraps the created device and alters how things are handled. Using a wrapper does not touch drivers at all. There is no real best configuration either, it all depends on your system and how you want to use this project. In terms of better performance / FPS, the main things to turn on are: Patch_CreateQuery - Set enabled to 1. Use_Direct3D9Wrapper - Set enabled to 1. - Set forceflush to 1. (Optional, may cause lag on some systems.) - Set blockquery to 1. (Optional, may cause lag on some systems.) Outside of that, its trial and error with the other features to see if they help your system run the game better. If someone experienced with shaders comes along, they can make use of the shader features in my project and share their overrides with others. This game heavily relies on shaders to produce the scene the way it is, which on older machines or machines with onboard graphics, this is super expensive on the graphics card/chip. Someone with experience in shader assembly can assist with rewriting various shaders to either not be used at all or to be better optimized. Personally, I am not that experienced with shaders so I cannot do too much with them. But the feature is there if someone is and can assist with it.

Can this add the missing effects from the console version? Also, when switching around buttons, does it display properly in menus and such?

I'd like to know if this fix changes any graphical settings, because the game runs smooth on my desktop, but I would very much like to use the remap function to run with square (as I did for 20 years in Resi games). I just don't want any unnecessary graphical compromises.

If the effects are missing, then they are probably not in the content files at all. So this would be no. As for the buttons, no. The mod hooks the input layer between the game and XInput to alter the buttons. It does not alter how the game sees them.

I just don't want any unnecessary graphical compromises. You can disable every aspect of the dll except for the controller remapping if you wish. It will not effect any part of the game if you do.

Ok, I tried to remap the buttons, but it gets all wacky when I map x to b (B = 16384), pressing b causes the character to aim and turn left, b to x (X = 8192) makes x work as back. I'm using a wired 360 controller. What am I doing wrong?

atom0s this Window: 640x480 Render: 640x360 Window: 800x600 Render: 800x450 Window: 1024x768 Render: 1024x576 dont work for me my game crashed at the lowest setting but if i look at the specs from the game i bet at the spec at maximum core i 7 12 gb ram and are geforce gtx 950m can your teel me way it crashed.

But now it's ok, I download fix without this problem When you click a dropbox link, be sure to read the buttons and text on the page before clicking download. There is usually a link that says 'just download' or something similar to bypass having to install Dropbox etc.

oh man, is good crack fix, but not working me, massage said bla bla missing window 7, after all file complete from download, new problem appear
