Oh hey, I still have an account here. I do wish Outbreak had a modding scene. Hopefully that would eventually allow me to improve the translation patch in the future. Maybe over Winter break I'll update the translation patch.

Haha, don't expect me for long. However I suppose I can drop by again if I ever get around to updating the patch. I've been meaning to unlocalize the memos and other errors made by the localization theme.

thanks stuntman snake. your work is greatly appreciated here is something someone posted on chat that I though was pretty interesting. Was from my failed RE2/3 Themed DT. I just talked with the mod maker earlier about it and he said that each Playable NPC has their own seperate adlib slots (8 of them, 2 for each of the button/analog commands), and that its a fairly simple process of replacing the existing voices. Sorry, just recalled that it's actually about 6 Adlibs for NPCs and a pair for each command, so 28 total voices (This makes the NPCs sound repetitive). Main cast have a total of 50 voices iirc. Here is the ad-lib mod: www.mediafire.com/download/6e96vfmywtm79yn/REOF2_-_Ensemble_Voice_Mod_-_by_Xiaonix.rarI would just like to say that it has already been tested. You can find videos of it in YouTube (I recommend Meio's channel: www.youtube.com/user/gokuryukensetsuna ) It has only been updated for a single time. I haven't got the time to update it Claire's Adlib quality should have been like 3 stars or something cause after a while of trying the mod myself, and seeing videos of it, it turns out that her adlib choices are cringe-worthy. It will be one of my desired changes for the next update. Hope I can find RE6 voices here cause I don't have RE6.

There is a modding board for outbreak over on re123.bplaced.net, but yea it lacks participation if we get something going here ill throw some stuff up just to show that there is some interest here, ive been conjuring this stuff up in my cave for a long time This tool is for analyzing a bunch of the games formats, This is an editor for enemy script, it displays all enemy entries for each room in a scenario, flags, coordinates, rotation values, enemy models can all be changed This is for editing item properties via memory it hooks into pcsx2 emulator, and loops through all defined item data for the current scenario with this you can do things like equip herbs, change the menu types an item normally has, change durability values, sound ID's aswell as animation and effect related data around items, this is a memory editor, which means temporary change but i added a routine to make changes to the file in a simultaneous way so your temporary change can become a permanent on while editing on the fly, this concept also applies to other sections of the tool For room related data such as camera's and lighting this property grid will hook into the camera or light data by indexing each camera angles information the desperate times roof has a total of 8 cameras in play, with this you can modify each a range of values , Field of view, rotation, x y z coordinates, camera type(completely static , "Follow Camera" etc) and it has the same feature where it will update the actual file itself after making changes in memory for more perm results same deal for lighting, it uses the same camera count index per room, you can create alot of interesting effects/color schemes of both the environment and in game model lighting/shadow stuff and i have some other random fun stuff like window hooking health bars into the game window to see actual values while you play, it could even be done for bosses and random enemies All this stuff has been rotting on my hard drive for a long time so maybe it will be useful to some haha

I made "test" Left 4 Dead 2 npc ad-lib mod for file 2. Also i made Biohazard 2 for File 1, Biohazard Code Veronica and outbreak file 2 original soundtrack enchancing/expanding for File 2 music mods. I do not much deserve to be called a modder, im way too amateur and unsuccessful. I cannot mod much like others. I attempted doing skin mods by myself, but i cannot, im very unskilled for task like that. I do not much like to request someone to wasting time for teach me for it too. o: Anyways, i do not plan making any new mods, just updating my already created music mods. I abandoned the left 4 dead 2 npc ad-lib mod project after Xiaonix made the RE0 Ensemble ad-lib mod and Kyle made the classic RE characters skin mod. My opinion is useless to continue that project of mine, since everyone would prefer RE voices for a RE game (even myself prefer it).
Would be nice if Outbreak modding becomes popular and being part of this forum.

Honestly I love resident evil outbreak it's a game i think has so much potential for modders, i've even taken an interest in trying to mod it myself. Outbreak has always and probably will always be my favorite re game and one of my top ten games of all time. So it'd be really nice to see more mods out there or modders at least

This game is not popular enough to warrant its own board, but you guys are welcome to continue using this thread for the game.
