I updated the download link. There are 2 more cameras and I added the lightning effect, so now there is a total of 20 backgrounds. And the 8 backgrounds I uploaded last time have been re-rendered so they should look slightly better.

Hello everyone! I uploaded new renders (check first post). And here's another behind-the-scenes screenshot This is really good, how do you get the drawings, or in accordance with the original model to refine? Reduction is very high!!! Great!!!

Nice job mate but one question ? did you check the backgrounds of the actual ReRemaster xD cuz for some reason the Size of them is 1920x1440 and if i try to fit your backgrounds i cant xD any idea how we can fit em so they will work xD also there is this Z texture which looks like this not sure what it is but if we can figure it out xD you can maybe use yours to make it the same so we can finally fix the game;s ugly backgrounds

Even if I rendered my backgrounds at 1920x1440 they would still look different because Capcom's backgrounds were upscaled from the original REmake backgrounds (rendered at 512x448). So I would have to either render my backgrounds at 512x448 and upscale them like Capcom did or render them at 2048x1792 and downscale them, and that would be tedious and time consuming. So I think a possible solution would be to adapt the game to my backgrounds by modifying the cameras. Of course I wouldn't know how to do it. All I know is that each camera's information is stored in .cci files.And by the way, I uploaded 12 new renders xDBio Weapon You too are doing an excellent work. Keep it up buddy!

The z texture is udes to calculate/represent the fog.

Oh sweet Jesus this is amazing work! whilst it is time consuming I hope you continue this so maybe we can all find away to get your renders working properly in game. Then we can bask in the beauty of the HD renders! ^_^/

Excellent job mate. I think the original BGs must also have some kind of post processing effects cuz it's a normal process in making pretty renders to add some more spice using a photo editing app. Any way I think Mr. Bunny needs a photoshop comrade too.

Wow biostar, I have no words! You did an awesome job!
I have been trying really hard to make my renders match Capcom's renders but I keep failing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My model matches both the REmake collision model and The Umbrella Chronicles model. There must be something about the cameras that I just can't figure out.
And I'm glad you noticed my RE0 render. It's based on one of the early builds of the N64 version.
