Edit: This has been fixed by another mod: steamcommunity.com/app/304240/discussions/0/350540973999781985/
TV mask and Film Grain removal updated DOWNLOADKnow issues: - Dining room is still full of noises - There might be some noises even after you get the Helmet Key, there must be another filter or another arc that need to be edited. Instalation: Copy and overwrite the nativePC folder to your instalation Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER\nativePC\ and overwrite the files too. TV Mask & Film Grain OFF TV Mask & Film Grain ON BTW: I noticed that removing those files somewhat brings the colour of GC/Wii back. Edit: Unfortunately I couldn't find anyway to get rid of that noise, I really would appreciate if someone could help me with this.

Here some comparisons TV Mask ON only TV Mask & Film Grain OFF TV Mask & Film Grain ON Are those shaders... ? And if so, can they be replaced with custom shaders... ? Or they are just ".png masks" like the filters in RE4 HD ?

Or they are just ".png masks" like the filters in RE4 HD ? They are just tex textures located in: ingamecommon\system\filter there you will find the TVMask_LIN & TVNoise_LIN. They are also located in Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER\nativePC\system\filter hey thanks for this little mod but, i think it only removes the grain filter? i tried it and now i see more the colors from the TV mask, heres a comparison No mod: Modded: Hope you can fix the file on mega, thanks Thanks for report this. Weird, it was working here, but now I have the same issue, even when I remove both from the arc, the tv mask keeps working. Edit: Download link updated, I couldn't completely remove it but it looks better now at least. There must be another tex file that needs to be edited. BTW: I noticed that removing those files somewhat brings the colour of GC/Wii back. EDIT 2: Got it completely removed tv mask and film grain, Download link updated again.

Thanks for the response, i downloaded your fix and heres the result, images are enough i think to describe it Looks to be more noticeable now, think ill use the original arc again but ill use the 2 tv filters off, maybe that will work EDIT: Ok, i used your 2 tv filters, and i kept the original ingamearc, and heres the result, at this moment im not sure if it looks better than original, but at least i cant notice the annoying red/green colors flickering on screen

I tested now without load my save game, If I start a new game or once again those annoying red/green colors flickering are indeed on screen, but if I load my save and go to those places they are not there, there must be another arc file or tex missing, I will try to find it.
BTW The save I'm loading is with the helmet key, when the Hunter are in the Mansion, maybe after the hunters appears on the mansion the game starts to use other tex arc files.

I noticed this ''flickering'' on the screen while in the Dining Hall - its really offputting and a little dizzying.
I forgot to backup the incommon.arc and both filter files though (D'Oh!)
I hope this gets fixed soon... Does anyone have the original files to hand?
