can someone help me find out how i can change the grapple attacks in re6? i want to swap helena's grapple attacks with ada's. any help would be appreciated.

Hello I'm just posting to keep this thread alive. I have also been trying to figure out which grapple attack or known as grapple melee(1-17) is which. Yay for the mods.

grapple attack 1/2 leg grab from ledge
grapple attack 3/4 upper ledge grab
grapple attack 5/6 wall head smash high
grapple attack 7/8 wall head smash low
grapple attack 9/10 high grab w/ taunt?
grapple attack 11 zombie shove?
grapple attack 14 knife neck cutter
grapple attack 13 knife counter

these headshot actions, are these the grapple attacks the character's do, like ada's hurancanrana, or sherry's dropkick move, after you shoot them in the head?

yes hurancanrana so thats what its called XD i got ur message about the grapple attack not working im not sure and i have swap only Finishers try adding the "Enemy's Animation?" to match the grapple attack linkz6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/index.php?showtopic=25927also if ur not using the same character swap from Trainer it will bug the grapple attack and wont work

heres how i quickly scan through the file not the best solution but the animation durations are noticeable
i swapped the target with pl0000acA using any of the matching melee character: 017-018 - 360 Kick(leon, sherry) 033-034 - 360 Hurricane Kick(jake) 035-036 - 720 Hurricane Kick(ada) 037-038 - Kick + 360 Rotation(helena, piers) 103-104 - Backhand(chris)
you may notice some weird rag doll animations it may be a file only for the enemies or the upper/lower body.
Also some of the character costumes doesnt work at all with swap. So this is possible.
default "enemys animation?"
swapped "enemys animation?" but bugged (unsure about others using chris "headshot action" beside jake)
heres the one that work perfectly with enemy animation and working grapple attack

here are the ones with enemy animation and working grapple attack bugged not bugged Use the EDIT button man if you want to add something, you have been spamming your own topic with post after post and bumping it up the forum list. sorry if this is bumping the topic, but which enemy animation would i need to swap in order to get ada's hurancanrana move to work flawlessly? on the page it shows 3 enemy animations for sherry - 63-64,73-74,and 81-82 - and it shows 2 enemy animations for ada - 1-2 and 65-66. i got ada's front head grapple attack to work, but the enemy animation is off.

yea through some trial and error, i figured that part out. still isnt working right as it should. all in all progress is being made, which is a plus in my book.
edit: didn't realize that 81-82 is sherry's second part of her headshot grapple attack. why does capcom have to make things so difficult?

um im not sure really. i'm still trying to figure out how to swap melee attack and animations flawlessly. it was so much easier on re5 than it is on this game.
btw, i even tried to swap helena's spinning arm drag move with ada's hurrancanrana move, seeing helena's has one set of enemy animation as well as ada's, and it still came out pretty buggy.
edit: ok i think i managed to successfully swap grapple attack moves, from one character to the other. it's a bit trickier than re5, but it is possible nevertheless. just have to use trial and error method, to find out what is what.
