Hi guys,
I've been successful in editing character meshes and textures, however there is one thing I don't understand, as from all the tutorials I've been following they always say to never touch or change the joints of the characters in the hierarchy view in 3DS Max.
However in this Salazar mod, the author was successful in changing the character size:
As you can see, Mr X appears tiny, and it doesn't look like his animations are distorted in any way. It looks nearly flawless, apart from the shadows it looks like in the rain.
So I am wondering how he managed to do this, and is there some trick hes doing to avoid distortion? Is it also possible to change the sizes of some of the main characters? Because I am working on a way to shrink Claire and Leon down to midget size, I wonder if this will break their facial animations during cutscenes and the gameplay camera?
Thanks!

The shrinking is done by a trainer, ' Ultimate Trainer', Mr. X to 40% height. You can heighten him if wished too. Both goes for other enemies, and Leon/Claire too if I'm not mistaken here ...

I had a suspicion this was the case... So what you are saying is that you need to activate the trainer every time you want to play the mod? I.e. Salazar would appear normal mrx height without it? Is it possible to do this by just editing the joints in 3ds max?

Settings can be saved in the trainer itself, so if you want Mr. X always shrinked, he will just be then. I don't know anything about modding myself, just a customer. I suggest to join the ' RE 2 Modding Forums Discord Server' to get wider help/response.

Thank you colonelfaulkner for this useful information, and for letting me know about the discord channel.
